Recently we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to our much-loved 5 year old dog who had terminal cancer. As it was a last minute decision (as he was particularly bad one morning and we knew it was time), when we phoned our vet they said they would not come out to our house, but they gave us the number of Marie De Lint from Let Me Go. I am so so so so grateful that they did.
Having Marie come to our house was the best thing that could ever have happened.
She is available 7 days a week 8am-8pm and we had her over on a Saturday afternoon. She was absolutely lovely and such a special, wonderful person who obviously loves animals.
She talked us calmly through the process and did not rush us at any time. It was a very relaxing experience for our dog and at no time did he show any signs of stress. I am so grateful to Marie for helping to make his passing so gentle and in such a loving environment.
She also brought back his ashes to us only around 3-4 days later, after he had been cremated which was far sooner than expected.
I hope that by writing this review that I can help spread the word about Marie and what she does and hopefully any other animal lovers who need to make a tough decision in the future may remember this and look up Marie - having Marie take care of you and your loved animal at the end is a decision you will not regret.
