We had out dog Wilf for 16 years and we had brought from the U.K. He meant the world to myself and to my husband wilf was always a faithful to my husband.
I knew this was going to be hard for my husband , Scott as his Dad had just pass away too.
Marie came explain everything to our self and family she let my daughter listen to wilf heart beat etc Abby had a wonderful time playing vet.
When the time came she but wilf into a deep sleep we could hear him snoring while the family gave him his last hugs and kisses.
Then she gave the final injection and he was now in doggie heaven.
I can not recommend this lady enough she is a beautiful soul, and let's face it it's a tough job .
Approximate cost: $350
My 18 year old cat was dying at home. I live alone so it was terrible.
I rang mid Sunday morning and there was no answer so left a frantic message. I spent some time with Tippi while waiting for a call back which took nearly an hour so I had to call again, no answer so sent a text.
She took a while to text me back advising she was free that afternoon. I tried calling her to discuss Tippi as was concerned if she was in pain or not but she didn't answer and instead text me to advise she had lost her voice and couldn't talk.
Tippi died just as I was calling her so sent her a text to let her know. I NEVER EVEN RECEIVED A MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE, NO REPLY AT ALL!
So much for loving animals...It's all about the money.
Why on earth take so long to get back to someone. I could've taken her somewhere else and put her out of her misery sooner.
Don't claim to be 24 hour service if you can't get back to people sooner.
And for God sake show some empathy, even if I didn't pay you $300 to do so!
Marie is amazing. Having her care for our beloved dog and our entire family during the process was such a blessing. A most wonderful service and a wonderful human being. I highly recommend Marie to any one at the awful moment you have to let your pet go.
Marie is so kind, caring and gentle. She enabled my beloved dog to go to sleep peacefully with no fear. My dog was always scared of vets, but he immediately relaxed with Marie, and she made what could have been so traumatic, a beautiful and relaxed passing for him.
After being let down by petdoctor woodville, Marie De Lint came out to our house at the last minute to put down my mum's cat who is suffering and very unwell.
Marie is such a compassionate person and she has been so understanding through this difficult time for my mum.
Thanks to Marie my mum's cat has been put to rest in her own home and she made it a beautiful experience for us.
Thank you Marie you really are an angel! We are so grateful and it means a lot to us that you went out of your way for us.
Marie is an angel. The love and care just radiates from her. She was so gentle with my dear Doris and supportive to my grieving family. We were in mess, I was in my PJ's, we had already used a whole box of tissues. Yet, Marie was serene. I sent Doris with Marie so that she could be cremated and returned to me in an urn. Marie dropped the urn to me at home a week later, still with such a kind manner. Marie had taken a paw print on fine paper and pasted it into a card. Inside she had handwritten a lovely note, touching on the things I had said about Doris. Of course the gesture was so beautiful, I howled. If the time has come to let your furry one go, this is the most gentle way possible. As I say, Marie is an angel in human form.
Making the decision to end the life of a beloved pet is one of life's most difficult and painful experiences. We did this a couple of days ago for our little dog Fergus who was 14 and had been diagnosed with cancer. Marie carried out the process in the kindest, most gentle and compassionate manner we could have wished. Saying goodbye to Fergus in his home where he felt safe and comfortable was the best possible way to let him go. I highly recommend Marie if you are faced with this sad event.
We recently had to make the decision to put our much
loved cat to sleep. A highly stressed out visit to the vet clinic is
not how we wanted Albert to go. Marie is truly a wonderful caring , compassionate individual. She took her time , talked to us about what was involved and ultimately gave him the peace he deserved at home on our bed. Then a week later we received a lovely personalised card . I will definitely use her for our other pets when their time is up .
Sadly, we needed to use Let Me Go last week for our elderly cat. It's always hard to say goodbye to a pet but Marie provides such a wonderful service and makes it all a little bit easier. Our cats passing was very peaceful and calm.
I have had elderly cats put to sleep at veterinary clinics in the past and that has been an awful experience with my cats afraid and stressed. The experience with Marie is vastly different and so much better.
I totally recommend Let Me Go.
We let our best little loyal friend Rocky go with he help and kind support of Marie. I couldn't have wished for a more peaceful way for our little boy to finally get his wings. Marie is a sincere and compassionate lady who demonstrated professionalism and care throughout.
