The staff were super freindly and service was fantastic. The steak was really good and cooked to perfection, as was the rest of our meal. The place was full on a Wednesday, so that must say something.

Let me give you an update on this amazing place, since most of the reviews are a little out dated...if you haven't been in this restaurant lately, you are missing out on a beautiful re decoration, amazing food and yes, portions are still huge however very tasty and fresh. It was a nice surprise to see that the menu is offering an individual serving very nicely presented. Desserts- we could hardly fit in the coffee after having all that lovely food.

I have been to Limore's before as a client in the restaurant but nevr had home delivery. I had ther hamburger and my wife had the snitzel and we both had chips. Well the meal arrive in about thirty minutes and it was disappointing. It wa the ame proportions that you would get in the restaurant (huge). As usual we struggled thru it but enjoyed it at the same time. Well done Limores. Will definately order home delivery again

Let me first say about Limor's: this is the place to take big eaters. Do not expect innovative or healthy eating here - Limors delivers what its die hard customers want - enormous serves of schnitzels, shaslicks, barbecued ribs, cevapcici, marinated chicken ribs - the list goes on.
There are complimentary salads served with most dishes - coleslaw, beetroot and tabbouleh - and dips are the usual fare in Middle Eastern style restaurants - hoummous, tehina, eggplant. And don't forget the shoe string fries - piles of them.

The main draw for most Limor's customers is definitely the meat - but don't make the mistake of ordering too much first up, as most mains will feed 2 or more people. Despite the slabs of fried and grilled meat, there is a felafel plate for the vegetarians in your party, which is served with a selection of dips, salads and pita, and a choice of a couple of (fairly gluggy but huge) pasta dishes, like the creamy mushroom sauce dish - edible, but not great. I can't comment on desserts - after more than a dozen visits to Limors I have never ordered one, often having been defeated by the entree course.

If you order judiciously amongst a few people, Limors can represent good value.

The restaurant is very loud and busy and service can be a little slow. variable.

I love this place - the first time I went, we made the mistake of ordering a main course each... let's just say that there was lots left over. The servings are huge, the taste great and its just casual... Great night out

This is one of my favorite places for dinner. Their schnitzels are amazing, and portion sizes are huge! Makes for a great takeaway. Also, I recommend their chicken noodle soup, it is amazing!

A place for the family with a large menu great portions and great food. It has a wonderful mixed grill that can feed 5 to 6 people, and leave everyone full. It is sometimes hard to get a table and the service is slow so you need a lot of patience.

Wow. You want a big dish .. Go Here... I have only ever indulged in teh Platter. My partner and I go there just for the platter as it gives a wide variety of the meals they offer. It is $50 for this meal but if you go as couple they will ask you if you have had it before as it is huge. Great meal for even four people if you get chips and salad with it. Quality is outstanding

We have been going to Limors for years - yes the service is not too hot, and you often feel like you are packed in like sardines, but the food is what makes this place. If you leave here hungry, then you must have a major appetitie, because the meals are huge, and very filling.

Their schnitzels are divine, and the BBQ sauce is awesome! They offer a wide range of meals and salads, and its great to order a few selections between your group, and share around.

Take aways are great, especially if you want to avoid the busy store - the foid is just as good at home!

The food just kept on coming, it was fresh and yummy! The waiters were great fun, friendly and clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about their product. There was a brilliant latin band and me and my friends danced for hours. We thought it would be like Maxy's, apparently it used to be the same owner once upon a time, but the difference was clear...this place was light years ahead...whoever this guys is .. he knows his food and knows entertainment. We are going again next week for the Karaoke and dinner (gotta try the BBQ platters.. they are superb). Oh and the $4 shots during the karaoke.... never seen that anywhere!!!!! brilliant.. keep up the good work guys!!

Limor's is well known amongst people living around the Caulfield area. It's the sister restaurant to Maxy's in Glenhuntly Rd. The menu is almost identical and unfortunately the service is too!! Don't expect any niceties.

It has a slightly better atmosphere than Maxy's but is probably more appropriate for small groups because the dining area is smaller (although there is an upstairs area for big groups).

The big platters of Ribs, Chicken Shaslicks etc are great value because they can feed 3-4 people for $40. The bbq sauce is a must have on the ribs and is also great on the fries that come with most meals.

The salads and falafels are pretty good for the non-meat eaters amongst us.

Excellent take-away for large groups

Excellent take-away for large groups

We used to go to Limor's with our family for birthdays and celebrations etc. The quality of the in-house service was very poor (very arrogant staff) so we generally only get take-away these days.

The Chicken Schnitzel is great and comes in huge servings. The meat platters are also good but are getting a bit pricey.
