The wedding of my daughter was held at Linton Gardens on 28 October 2017. I could not fault this beautiful wedding venue. There were so many compliments from our guests about the food and the venue. Top notch, all of them.
As far as my husband and I are concerned, we would recommend this place as a place for a wedding any day. The effort Terry put in to make it a memorable day went over and above.
Very highly recommended.

Would highly recommend Linton Gardens as a wedding and function venue.. we recently had our wedding at this beautiful location. Terry and the Linton gardens team went above and beyond to make our day special...

My husband and I were married here on 2nd of September. The value was unbeatable. We had use of the chapel, our guests had canapes and a three course dinner with alcohol included. Also all the decorations were included at the chapel and reception too and this was priced at under $100 per person.

The food was of decent quality and the customer service received from Terry was outstanding unlike other venues who we approached at first for assistance with wedding packages.

For quality, price and service you can't go wrong.

I got married at Linton gardens last month and we can honestly say we could not fault Linton gardens,

From the moment of the i first spoke to terry until the last moment of our wedding he did everything in his power to make sure we were happy with everything and it was what we had envisioned for our special day.
Terry and his team has decorated the gardens and function room absolutely perfect... the food was wonderful and from being a chef myself i could not fault it. All the wait staff were wonderful and very accommodating to everyone needs. we choose the Gold package and couldn't believe how well priced it was with everything being organized and done for us.

I would recommend it to any of my friends.

"How do you describe a perfect venue. Linton Gardens is so easy to get to. We had friends come from Sydney and Newcastle. With the venue only 5-10 minutes off the M1 it is so easy. Terry and his team are outstanding. nothing is to big or small for them to handle. We received an all inclusive package, of food, beverages , room hire. ( They also have a church onsite :) ) I would happily go back to Linton gardens for any reason. Did I also mention, there is a 3 Bedroom cottage onsite, that you can rent to stay in. Thank you Terry for everything, it was such a beautiful location and the food was outstanding."

My Husband and I got married on the 10th of June this year at Linton Gardens.

I honestly cannot rate Terry and his team high enough. Terry was amazing from the very beginning. I was nervous as I was unable to try the food prior to my wedding. ( Due to my location.) The food was outstanding.

I also stayed at the cottage the night before the wedding. This was a perfect idea.

Thank you Terry for everything, you are amazing.

The location is perfect in every way, however the management of the venue has inspired me to warn as many people as possible to run for the hills rather than booking an event here. At least until a change of ownership takes place. The manager, Terry, provided us with Saturday prices for a Friday wedding which we didn't realise until after we'd paid (upfront). When we brought it to his attention he refused to change it or upgrade our package to reflect the price we paid. He tried to get more money out of us constantly between the time we booked and paid until the very day prior to our wedding. He showed us a picture of a beautiful wrought iron-esque birdcage like structure he was having delivered for the end of the aisle when we first approached him about booking our wedding. It looked like a fairy tale, and was one of the reasons we booked. This never eventuated, and instead he had a structure that looked like a home made adaptation of a clothesline, draped with a sheet so the horrific nature of the structure wasn't quite as apparent. Luckily he also had a simple arch, which our decorator added flowers and ivy to, after I explained how let down we were from what we'd originally been promised. (I noted that these decorations were retained for a wedding held there the following day as well). The food was the quality you'd expect in economy class on an airplane. It was brought in from offsite and re-heated in the kitchens. It was our fault for assuming that with such excellent kitchens, the food would be cooked onsite. It really was an awful quality for the price paid. It also explains why the manager avoided us for a year when we continually called to try and schedule a tasting. Please learn from our mistake here and have it in writing that food will be prepared from scratch, onsite, and ensure you have a tasting before paying the deposit, let alone paying in full. We had a wedding reviewer attend our wedding, and he agreed that the cost wasn't worth what we got, and that the wine supplied was awful. The parts he stated that he thought were good value were all additions we'd paid for from other suppliers. All in all, I'd suggest people go elsewhere because Linton Gardens is not worth the money, or the hassle of dealing with a sneaky sales oriented businessman who is more interested in getting every cent out of you than in assisting you to celebrate your once in a lifetime occasion. It's memorable, but for mostly the wrong reasons, and we were SO happy not to have to deal with this guy ever again when it was all over. It was truly the worst part of our wedding, and unfortunately, it's the part you need to be the best. Even friends stated that the food was terrible. We had a chef at our wedding, and he apologised for not eating anything because of the terrible quality. We were also advised by a beautician doing my pre-wedding massage, to go to the venue directly the following day, as they had trouble getting their refundable deposit back after their wedding. We did this, and were provided with a cheque which cleared in the normal period.

in responding to this review
1- the package was made for Friday 28th March 2014 and the total cost $9935.00 if it was Saturday the cost would be $11060.00
2- after the ceremony the Groom brought Colored Lights and asked the staff to put them in a short Glass with water after that the Groom asked the staff to remove the lights and dry them and place them in an empty glass , the Bride asked to remove the wrapped butter portions and place the butter on a side plate
the bride requested to change the Chardonnay wines to Semi Sav Blanc at no extra cost
the Bride asked to have Moscato on her table again at no extra cost
the Bride asked to have champagne served to the guest all night at no extra cost
the Bride asked one of the Dessert to be served from the platinum menu at no extra cost
when the Bride and the groom booked their wedding on 27th April 2013 they said we have only 80 ppl then on 1st Aug 2013 the Groom changed the Function room from Hunter to Kewita (the minimum charge for this room is 100ppl) but I gave them a discount so instead of paying $10635.00 I made it $9935 .00
the bride called the day before the wedding at 5.00pm to request extra meal for 6 ppl in the band with their beverage and I quoted her $99.00 only , the bride start abusing me and then I had a call from a women I never met threatening me that she will make all the effort to ruin my business
on the day of the wedding we had a judge from the Restaurant and Catering Association
as we been selected annually for the award of excellence for the service we offer
I have been managing Linton Gardens for the last 11years and I won a number of award and Linton gardens became a premium wedding venue in Central coast and surrounding I pride myself to be honest , hard working man fully dedicated to my business and I follow every details of the wedding by myself, Kind Regards Terry 25th June 2016

This man is a snake oil salesman who sells dreams, and gives the least possible return after money has changed hands. The staff we hired were treated as guests and got the same meals as our guests did. The day before the wedding he called asking for more money, as he had on many occasions after he was PAID IN FULL almost a year prior to the wedding. The wedding reviewer who attended, agreed that the food was way below par and over priced, and that the wines supplied were incredibly over inflated in price and low quality. He stated (with witnesses) that he couldn't understand how there were so many awards judging by the experience he had whilst he was there. I would imagine they are probably from the many previous owners who earned the good reputation.
The guest I had who is a chef in London was disgusted with the "microwaved, dog food" that he said his main meal resembled.
This man pretends to be your best friend, but in reality is worse than a car salesman. CAVEAT EMPTOR!
