Every time I’ve been in they’ve been friendly and professional. The very best celebration cakes I’ve had, so I had them create my wedding cake which was just as wonderful. You truly can’t go wrong with the exceptional quality this place continually delivers.

Matt was awesome and incredibly detailed with his work. He provided me options to make it cheaper, and put me at ease with his personable, friendly manner. I’d highly recommend Matt’s services as a plumber.

I drive over an hour to visit MGL. They are truly worth the trip, and are a secret gem in the hairdressing industry. Prices are very reasonable, and they're always cheerful and know just when to chat, and when to leave me to my own devices. It's a friendly, professional atmosphere. Parking is available out front, or park, shop, and visit via a short walk across the street from North Rocks shopping centre.

I've been to Gillian Adams a few times now (usually once a year) as it's about an hour drive for me to get there. I get a whole day package and arrive as early as possible as there is extremely limited parking. Occasionally there is a treatment specialist who starts hard selling products, but it isn't often.
I LOVE that the day is organized so very well from beginning to end, and that packages are able to be altered to suit individual taste. On my last visit I had the usual pool and sauna with massage, and added a full body facial which was wonderful. The only inconvenience was walking back and forwards through the hallways to shower in the change room. It would be great to be able to do everything in one room without encountering other people mid-treatment. This treatment was the best of the day.
Their gourmet lunch is always exquisite, and memorable. This year they served my chocolate brownie dessert as I had a pedicure. I had the seafood platter on this last visit, but previously I have had a delicious steak. It's always cooked and presented perfectly, with great attention to detail.
I love having a hair salon on site, as the worst part of a massage is getting oils through my (very long) hair. It's great to finish the day with a wash and blow dry, and make-up services are also offered for those who wish to walk out fully primped and pandered to.
Yes, this is an expensive day-spa, but it truly is worth the cost, and the time really flies. It's great to go with a friend, and I've loved every visit so far. I always leave thinking about the next visit with great anticipation.

We have had Mia caring for our 2 cats quite a few times now, and can honestly say that they could not be in better hands. We have one cat who is very scared of people, and Mia worked with him to the point that he greets her at the door, and rolls over for tummy rubs. She is absolutely fantastic! Mia doesn't mind that we have 24 hour security cameras so we can check in on the cats while we're away. She feeds our kitties, waters plants, collects mail and ensures bins are put out and collected when necessary. She understands how much we miss our babies while we're away and sends texts and pictures to let us know how they're going. When you love your pets as much as we do, it's good to know they're in trustworthy, reliable hands. She has alerted us to any issues straight away, and is very pro-active and genuinely cares for animals. We are so very glad to have her!

Jo worked with me to understand the style I wanted. The airbrushed makeup is absolutely phenomenal, and really made my skin beautiful. She was extremely patient with one of my bridesmaids who was very picky, and I commend her on her professional attitude. She made my mother look 20 years younger, and so many people commented on our makeup on the day that the quality of her work is truly undeniable. I will definitely be using Jo again if I have any other formal events in the future.

The location is perfect in every way, however the management of the venue has inspired me to warn as many people as possible to run for the hills rather than booking an event here. At least until a change of ownership takes place. The manager, Terry, provided us with Saturday prices for a Friday wedding which we didn't realise until after we'd paid (upfront). When we brought it to his attention he refused to change it or upgrade our package to reflect the price we paid. He tried to get more money out of us constantly between the time we booked and paid until the very day prior to our wedding. He showed us a picture of a beautiful wrought iron-esque birdcage like structure he was having delivered for the end of the aisle when we first approached him about booking our wedding. It looked like a fairy tale, and was one of the reasons we booked. This never eventuated, and instead he had a structure that looked like a home made adaptation of a clothesline, draped with a sheet so the horrific nature of the structure wasn't quite as apparent. Luckily he also had a simple arch, which our decorator added flowers and ivy to, after I explained how let down we were from what we'd originally been promised. (I noted that these decorations were retained for a wedding held there the following day as well). The food was the quality you'd expect in economy class on an airplane. It was brought in from offsite and re-heated in the kitchens. It was our fault for assuming that with such excellent kitchens, the food would be cooked onsite. It really was an awful quality for the price paid. It also explains why the manager avoided us for a year when we continually called to try and schedule a tasting. Please learn from our mistake here and have it in writing that food will be prepared from scratch, onsite, and ensure you have a tasting before paying the deposit, let alone paying in full. We had a wedding reviewer attend our wedding, and he agreed that the cost wasn't worth what we got, and that the wine supplied was awful. The parts he stated that he thought were good value were all additions we'd paid for from other suppliers. All in all, I'd suggest people go elsewhere because Linton Gardens is not worth the money, or the hassle of dealing with a sneaky sales oriented businessman who is more interested in getting every cent out of you than in assisting you to celebrate your once in a lifetime occasion. It's memorable, but for mostly the wrong reasons, and we were SO happy not to have to deal with this guy ever again when it was all over. It was truly the worst part of our wedding, and unfortunately, it's the part you need to be the best. Even friends stated that the food was terrible. We had a chef at our wedding, and he apologised for not eating anything because of the terrible quality. We were also advised by a beautician doing my pre-wedding massage, to go to the venue directly the following day, as they had trouble getting their refundable deposit back after their wedding. We did this, and were provided with a cheque which cleared in the normal period.

Jodie was one of about 20 photographers we interviewed when we organised our wedding. Her photographs are of an exceptionally high quality, and though some others were too Jodie's personality, and genuine interest and excitement about photographing our wedding were what made her stand out from all of the others. Photography seems more than just a job for her, and her enjoyment of her work was apparent from our first meeting with her right up until her last personal visit to our house to deliver the pictures she framed for our wall. Her prices were very reasonable for a photographer, and after recieving her work we would advise others to book before she looks at what other photographers offer, and realises she's worth much more. She was very professional, incredibly easy to work with, unobtrusive on the day, and included a second photographer at no extra cost (who happened to be the photographer of choice next in line if Jodie hadn't been available.) Weddings are very difficult to organise, and Jodie made the photography process easy for us. We couldn't have been happier with the service and products we recieved, and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a photographer.

We have used a number of pet minders but have been blown away by how wonderful Mia is with our cats. One of the cats simply doesn't like new people, and by the end of the first weekend she had him at least in the same room and was able to text us a photo. Her dedication and patience are admirable, and we now have a little more peace of mind about leaving them because we know our 'babies' are in very caring hands.

I generally hate mechanics, but all I needed was a pink slip so I went to this place because they're close. My clutch died just before I entered their driveway and I felt resigned to the fact that I'd have to leave the car with them. I'm so glad I did! The customer service was fantastic, the quality of workmanship and attention to detail was surprisingly high for such a small outlet, and I think I've stumbled on one of a very rare breed of trustworthy mechanics. I will definitely be back, and highly appreciate the professionalism and honesty of the staff at this business.
