I have been here for a social drink catch up at the Long Room many times and truly enjoy the atmosphere and experience. Its an elegant bar with lots of seating available with good relaxing music in the background.

In my opinion, drinks are expensive, but for me I am not much of a drinker its fine .... as one glass of wine is plenty for me, then I switch to something light eg OJ or soft drink.

They also serve meals and tapas which are delicious bite sizes of food to enjoy too.

Its a good place too for private functions

I went to long room once.. a good friend of mine invited me to have a drink there and dress code is required! .. well,the place has a very nice atmosphere.. great music, great place to have drinks and hang out with friends..

Long Room is located on Melbourne's premier street alongside some of the country's finest Victorian era buildings and turned out to be a stylish venue with an elegant setting. It truly is a very long bar with dim lighting and good music. We just had a couple of drinks there, so I can't really say anything about dining. The night got busier as the hours progressed, but we really appreciated the ambience. I strongly recommend an elegant dress code!
