Definitely a place to go if you want to make a statement. It is indeed a very long room with plenty of width. A long bar runs along one side of the long room. Opposite to the bar is an open section and next to that a section which features very comfortable lounges and tables and sophisticated partition like structures. The place has a really luxurious feel to it. The food and drinks are good.

Nice spot for a drink here and they also have a great selection of cocktails. Service is friendly and helpful. It is classy so you will need to dress up to get in :-)

Nice and posh! It is a classy place unlike a lot of other 'clubs'. It is a good spot to go for after work drinks especially on a Friday. People go to let their hair down and have a good time. No one really dances here though just to warn you!

one of the more posh and fancy looking places in melbourne, i find that it fits an older demographic there were heaps of 30 somethings doing their after work drinks on a friday night, standard drinks, okay service, lots of areas for seating and there's a restarant and sushi place in it as well in case you're feeling peckish

Descending the red carpeted curved staircase into the vaults of the Georges building, you find yourself in a chic modern bar. Generally speaking, it is a nice venue. However, due to the highly open plan/lounge style layout of the venue, it becomes crowded very easily and acoustics are rather poor. If you go on a night other than friday it could be quite nice. The food & drinks are collins st standard.

The boss and I needed a break after being in meetings all day. We went last Wednesday and just had a tapas plate each at $28ea. It was lovely with a great range. I can see that ordering from the menu could be somewhat more costly, though.

The Long Room is a very cool place to go and chill out with friends. They have quite a large tapas menu and all the food is very yummy. I also loved their Red Velvet Cocktail!!!

Great ambiance, very relaxing. Lots of different kind of nibbles and drinks. Staffs are very friendly but sometimes you need extra effort to grab their attention.
If you are looking for a place to relax with friends or colleagues, for easy listening, have a bit of chat, a bit of food and drink, this is a good place to go.
