I totally agree with the other reviewer.
There is not many people left like him in the business of shoe repair.
You can totally trust his judgement.
I took a pair of new boots in with (what I thought was a difficult job).
I believed a new stronger zipper was needed.
He immediately saw the problem and even though he had been closing up the store fixed the zip right there and then and then didn't charge me anything.
I have had other beautiful repairs done by him at a very fair price but it was just that kindness and honesty that touched me to want to tell the rest of the public that he deserves your business.

Took dad's goodies for sole and heel repair. THis guy knows his stuff. He will tell you if a shoe is worth repairing and you decide. If something is so comfortable as to give you another few years then this guy will make all things right. He is an artisan from the old school and does more and sells some european type shoes also. More than pleased to find this local good service. Shuts down for times during day so ring him as he is the only server. Good honest service
