Not bad fish and chips in little old Lutwyche. Wouldn't travel to eat here, but don't mind going there when I am in the area (not a lot of good food there anyway).

Such a lovely lady serving behind the counter! Sometimes when you ask for something to be freshly cooked but there's already some in the bain marie, you get awful looks. This lady was different though :). She didn't mind cooking up a fresh batch and she was very pleasant and chatty as well.
They do the best potato gems and gravy!!
Frankly I don't know how the food court at Centro Lutwyche survives but I'm glad it does.
The food here is very oily and tastes as if it has been sitting in the window for hours. YUCK! The fish was tasteless and the chips were soggy. Certainly won't be visiting here again.
I coulnt agree more. An absolute rip-off with fish that is millimetres thin & soaked in oil. Not to mention the extremely rude & very strange woman whom owns & runs the place. Cant see them lasting much longer as at lunch time in that food hall every food outlet is busy but the seafood shop is silent & completely empty....says it all.
