Located next to Campos Cafe in Newtown, Luxe Bakery is a great big space with lots of natural lighting coming through, gorgeous and delectable sandwiches, breads,pastries to entice your eye, and everything is made right on site!

I love the custard tart with flaky pastry,wobbly jelly like custard and sprinkled with nutmeg on top... makes it creamy , delicious to eat and almost a sweet and nutty flavour form the nutmeg on top. Coffee is pretty good here, love the cappuccino, frothy and stong, without being bitter!

Great place to come for coffee and dessert, the place does gave a regular stream of customers, not too overpriced and enjoyable. Will be back!

Luxe Bakery is a cute bakery/cafe hidden just off the main drag of King Street. The food is pretty great (house cured salmon an poached egg $16 is to die for) but the coffee (at least on this particular day) is seriously average. Staff are friendly despite the chaos of take-away counter orders and table service. Newtown is a little lacking in great breakfast spots so this is a good one keep in mind.

This place is a really nice bakery, with lots of space, a rarity in most cafes close to the CBD. The area is very open, with a high ceiling, and I find this really adds to a great atmosphere, notable as it makes you feel less crowded in the area.

They have a great display of food, and it tastes as good as it looks! The service is pretty quick, and the line moves fast as well, so there's not a very long wait for your food. It is priced reasonably, similar to many of the other cafes within the area, I was very happy with my meal there.

Long down burger was not that special but Brocoli & Zucchini Linguini was special.(Lunch menu) yam yam-
I will taste the other food next time. :-)

an excellent place for breakfast have a nice breakfast with coffee,i ate poached eggs they were perfect runny yolk,dip the sour dough bread in the yolk yummy,coffee is great good prices aand popular place in newtown great range of cakes and breads to indulge

Makes great coffee & tasty breakfasts. It is often quite busy- so may have to queue or share a table with other hungry customers.

This is a new bakery in Newtown. They have really nice pastries and cakes. It is a great place to go to for lunch or breakfast. In addition to sandwiches, they can cook things like smashed broadbeans on toast (yum) or poached eggs. Their coffee is good as well.
