I went to this Mediterranean cafe/restaurant with a friend and we had the seafood banquet/set-meal. The food was delicious, and we struggled to finish it all as they brought out so much! The service was excellent- very friendly, we felt like we were long lost friends rather than the customers.

This review is for 360 Bar & Dining, Sydney NSW

We went to the 360 restaurant (not the buffet) when overseas friends were visiting Sydney. The views are amazing!!. The restaurant rotates so this gives you different views of the city as your meal progresses. The meals were generally fairly good (although a little hit and miss) - I was expecting higher quality than we received. The lunch deal is good value, but the dinner options seems expensive- you are paying for the view!

This review is for Steki Taverna, Newtown NSW

I went to this greek taverna on a weekday for dinner & had one of their banquet meals. The food was delicious & there was so much of it! Just when we thought we were too full to eat anymore another meal would come out. The service was very friendly. I am looking forward to coming back on a weekend when the music & dancing happens.

I visited this Lebanese/modern Australian cafe on King street & the food was excellent. I enjoyed my main of fish with a tahini sauce and my partner enjoyed their mixed grill. Service was fine.

This review is for Atom Thai, Newtown NSW

This is a good Thai place on King street, with a cheap lunch deal- but not a stand out amongst some of the others on king street. Not been for dinner- so not sure if the food might be better when ordering off the dinner menu- but it does always seem full for dinner.

This review is for The Monkey Bar, Balmain NSW

The bistro/restaurant section of the monkey bar had a lovely atmosphere & reasonable stylish decor. Our meals were tasty & reasonably priced (the daily specials are particularly well priced), although the drinks were a little bit more then we'd usually pay. Service was good & friendly.

We come here regularly for the excellent bread rolls (& at a great price). The family who run this place are always friendly and the bread has always been fresh.

This review is for Crispy Inn Bakery, Newtown NSW

A 24 hour bakery on King Street, but unfortunately the quality/freshness of the bread seems hit & miss. I went to this bakery to get some fresh Turkish bread and what I was sold was clearly days old. When I arrived home, I noticed it was growing mould!! I was very disappointed that a bakery would be selling food that was clearly not fresh. I would avoid this bakery, particularly as there is another good bakery option on King street.

The Ice-cream here is brilliant. A great range of flavours- perfect for a hot day. I've not yet tried their meals- although the food always looks tempting.

This review is for Hikaru Japanese Restaurant, Newtown NSW

I come here regularly for good quality Japanese food at excellent prices. the lunch deals are very good. Unfortunately the most recent time I visited with friends for dinner the quality of our meals wasn't up to the usual standard- but I'm hoping it was a 1-off- as the food is usually excellent!
