When was your business founded?

Macrotech Solutions was founded in 2013. Since then, we've grown into a fully equipped independent repair centre in Carrum Downs, serving Frankston, Cranbourne, Langwarrin, Seaford, Skye, Patterson Lakes and the wider southeast Melbourne region.

What guarantees or warranties do you offer, if any?

All hardware replacements screens, batteries, logic-board repairs and other component-level work are covered by a 12-month warranty on both parts and labour.

What is your level of experience in this line of work?

Our technicians bring hands-on experience across both Apple and Windows repair from everyday screen and battery replacements through to advanced logic-board and motherboard microsoldering that most repair shops can't perform in-house. We're equipped with a microscope, oscilloscope, soldering station and multimeter for genuine component-level diagnostics and repair, not just board swaps.

What is your fee structure like? Fixed fees? Hourly rates?

Diagnostics for hardware-level or motherboard-level faults are a standard $50 fee if the fault is repairable and we carry out the repair, that fee is credited toward the cost of the job. Software repairs are a fixed $120$150 regardless of how long the job takes, whether that's 2 hours or 24. Hardware-level repair costs are quoted individually once the fault has been diagnosed.

Most repair shops can only replace a faulty logic board or motherboard outright we're equipped with a microscope, oscilloscope, soldering station and multimeter to actually diagnose and repair at component level, often at a fraction of the cost of a full board swap. We handle both Apple and Windows devices under one roof, so you're not stuck finding a separate specialist for each. Our $50 hardware diagnostic fee is credited toward the repair cost if we go ahead with the job, and every hardware replacement carries a 12-month warranty on parts and labour. How quickly can work be completed? What are your turnaround times? Do you offer same-day service?

Most software issues performance problems, malware removal, operating-system troubleshooting are typically completed the same day. Diagnostics for hardware and motherboard-level faults are also done the same day, so you'll know what's wrong and what it'll cost before you leave. The hardware or motherboard-level repair itself is usually completed within 2448 hours once diagnosed.
