In the large and well organized yard customers will find gardening needs such as fertilizers and potting mixes. Sand, gravel and dirt is available for purchase, together with an extensive variety of timber and fencing wire.

Inside the store a variety of kitchen utensils are sold together with a small selection of kitchen appliances, such as toasters and electric jugs. All manner of tools are available such as hammers, saws, allen keys, rulers, paint rollers, wire cutters, scrappers etc. There is a good selection of plumbing and electricial requirements together with bathroom components such as taps. A reasonable quantity of gardening tools, hoses and fertilizers are also available. Mac's Timber and Hardware is certainly worth visiting if you need building materials on Macleay Island. It's amazing what you can find. I picked up an old fashioned can opener for $1.90. I hadn't seen one for years and have been constantly frustrated by my new-fangled ones not working properly. It was worth the visit just for that!
