It's hard to imagine today that a business in Australia can operated this poorly and unethically.

I purchased a subscription from Magshop for a gift back in Feb. It is now May and I have still not received an issue. A fortnight ago I called them about the lack of delivery and they simply told me they couldn't help and to call the publisher. No acknowledgement that 2.5 months was far too long to wait for the first issue, no apology, they just tried to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. So I called the publisher and they informed me that I would receive the first issue within a fortnight. A fortnight has passed, and today I called Magshop again and demanded my money back. I was again told to call the publisher, after which I said that was an unacceptable response and asked for the supervisor. A minute later the representative was back on the phone and informed me that his manager told him to forward my request onto the subscriptions department and that they'd get back to me in 3 working days! I asked again to speak to the supervisor, who reluctantly came to the phone. After some discussion he agreed that I was not out of line requesting my money back, but said I had to take it up with the publisher. I requested that he call them because Magshop took my money and he simply responded by saying his afternoon was busy with back to back meetings! He finally agreed to call them, and got back to me saying a cheque would be in the mail from the publisher.

So I paid $260 to be given the run-around with no explanation, acknowledgment or apology for a non-existent service.

I will never again order anything through these guys.

Recently purchased a magazine subscription as a gift from this mob. A bonus dvd was advertised. 2 months later have still not received it. Have phoned their 'customer service' centre 5 times, and heard a different story each time- from wait 28 days, to wait 28 working days, to it's not in stock, to no one had theirs delivered, to too bad, you had to be one of the first 50 to subscribe, and if you can't prove you were, you don't get it!
They ignore emails I have sent to them (I used an address they gave me over the phone, telling me to send my complaint there)
Absolutely abysmal service.
