I had my bathroom get the make over. I am so happy with how professional this business is. Everything was done to a very high standard and look great. I will get Dale back to do my kitchen when I am ready.

Approximate cost: $5500

We had our kitchen renovated by Bath Magic recently. It was very rundown and was the original from when we built the house 24 years ago. The guys did an incredibly professional and detailed makeover, replacing hinges, squaring up doors replacing a few panels that needed to be done, filling where laminate had worn off over the years. We had new doors made and the old tiles repainted. plus a few other inclusions that were needed to give a great finished job. I was glad
Dale picked me up on the colour we had chosen for the tiles and the finished job was brilliant. I am ecstatic about how good it looks. I would recommend them to anyone. Great job guys and thanks to Mick and Damien. Jan at Maryknoll.

We wanted to give our old, pink bathroom a modern look, without having to completely renovate it. A new shower screen was installed, which was put on crooked on one side and without corners lining up on the other. The shower base, bath and all tiles were painted white with their special paint. After about 2 months, the paint in the shower base has cracked all along the sides. For both the shower base and the bath, the slightest drop of something such as a shampoo bottle chips the paint, leaving the original pink base showing through. The tiles were also regrouted. Cheap or incorrect sealant was used that is not mould resistant and has yellowed and grown mould, looking very poor quality against the white paint on the tiles. After many attempts to get them back out to repair, I was told my warranty had expired due to a change in business ownership and now have had to attempt to seal the paint cracks myself. Extremely disappointed considering the total cost.

Approximate cost: $2250

To clarify, its the resurfacing paint that is cracked, not the shower base. The paint hardened with a gap between the base (as its rounded). So when the new paint was hard, if anything added weight on it, it would crack due to the space between it and that original shower base.
The sealant was cheap and inferior. I can tell this as I replaced it and it had a profound effect. The new sealant has remained white and mould free to this date.

Exactly what I tried to clarify in the above statement, it's the movement between the shower base and the tiles.

So since June you have replaced e silicon and it's ok still.....yes it will be for a few months June was the 6th month and now it's the 9th month ..so 12 weeks and it's not got mould on it !

Give it 12 and then report back, or better still have a google around silicon manufactures and find out about silicon there is no warranty on it from anyone being installer or manufacture nor did the company who resurfaced your room offer one. This is silicon , believe me if we would find a product that never went mouldy don't you think everyone would be using it ?

I can understand your view about this and getting frustrated but please understand I bought a phone number of a business that has closed.

Resurfacing when done correctly is a great product and by the sounds of what your saying was not done correctly.

I fail to see how if the paint is sprayed directly onto the shower base, it hardens within a couple of days and presumably sticks to the base, that there can be such a large gap between the hard new paint and the base.
You're right - the job wasn't done correctly - hence my review. I post on this site given my experiences, and everything I have said was based on my experience and my end result. Others may have a sucessful result, and I sincerley hope they do, however unfortunately that wasn't the case for me.
I also didn't request a quick job before I sold. I still own the property. I just couldn't afford a complete new bathroom and just wanted to get rid of the pink colour.
