From the appearance of the restaurant it looks a rundown and quite old. However, don't judge the quality of the food by the appearance of the place as the food has great taste and the service is also good. Pricing of the food is also very affordable. Would highly recommend if looking for authentic malaysian food

Lovely place for good Malaysian food. I can vouch for the Hainanese Chicken Rice - yum! This place is often overlooked because it's on the end of the Clayton shopping strip by the station and upstairs, but it is well worth a visit.

Approximate cost: $20

AUTHENTIC! Definitely has Malaysia taste, as agree by my husband. It was crowded and busy, but staff were still patient and friendly. Am waiting for them to reopen from CNY holiday.

Approximate cost: $15-18

Eventhough this place may look a little run down, it is kept clean all the time. The service here is always warm and friendly and the food here are very reasonably priced. I personally like the taste of the char koay teow here and you can even have it mixed with hokkien noodles if you like. Mind your step as you open the door to the restaurant though.

This place looks dodgy and bit dirty inside out. I remember once suggesting my friends to go to this place for dinner and I was given "the look" like I was crazy. They told me they'll never go to this place no matter how good the food is. Seriously this place need some serious renovation.
Personally I have tummy made of steel and used to eating on the side of streets even.
Honestly this place serves some seriously delicious Char kway teow. It's very authentic, exactly like the ones I used to have in my home town. It has clams, nice amount of chillies and pork crackles. The real char kway teow are supposed to have those ingredients, especially the pork crackles.

Great selection of food, reasonable prices. Restaurant is within walk from Clayton Station. Service is average, especially during peak hours. I would highly recommend its Nasi Lemak.

Approximate cost: $10

Very nasi goreng in town! From the outside, the restraurant looks a little dodgy but the food is to die for. I have been going there for nearlly 20 years even though I now live further away. The service is great, staff are friendly and the food comes out quick. Easy to park (along the railway line). Highly recommended
