We stopped off here for a quick snack , Looked like th average country town style bakery. I ordered a pie for my daughter and a pastie for myself to takeaway. Handed over a $20 note and imagine my suprise when the change I got was $6 . Thats $7 each for a plain pie and a vegetarian pastie. The pie was good apparently not mince but chunky steak but my pastie was very ordinary with a lack of seasoning (bland) . The upside was the sauce was free. Will never go back there again. The prices were absolutely ridiculous, would not even be charged that amount for a pie in the middel of toorak.

Approximate cost: $7

Recently visited with a large group of walkers. It is a lovely cafe with the choice of a garden setting or inside where there is also a small gallery.

Had a milkshake which was good and generously sized. Friends had coffees and cakes and all were happy with their choices.

Apparently the Dundee cake is very famous and there is a letter from the City of Dundee in the cafe praising the cake.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

We found this bakery by chance whilst driving out for a day trip and gosh were we glad to have discovered it!

We enjoyed the most delicious pies and pasties ever! truly delicious home made and country style, as you would expect from a country bakery.

The sweets are also delicious, but I could not eat a slice by myself, so I share it with my husband.

My husband and I enjoyed our first experience so much that we returned there again just to have a good pie!

Its a lovely bakery which is clean and neat. Staff are friendly.

I often stop here for a quick snack, coffee and toilet stop to break up long drives.

They have great home made sausage rolls and quiches, and a large assortment of cakes, muffins and slices along with other savoury pastries. The coffees and hot chocolates are delicious too and always very hot. I find that some of their slices are a little too sweet to eat a whole one by myself.

Approximate cost: $8
