Great place to take friends and family to. Good food, good atmosphere

One if my favourite restaurants! Food is always delicious and portion sizes are generous so it's great to share and try lots of different dishes. I only wish I lived closer to chatswood so I could go more often.

Great restaurant! Always delivers excellent food and efficient service. Highly recommend the roti planta, rojak salad and roti tisu (dessert). Staff are always quick to serve and friendly. Food is consistent and delicious. Definitely a favourite in the area

Great restaurant, I love the maggie goreng and Rotti tisu !! the two dishes I always get when I go there. Not sure if it tastes similar to the one in City but i guess its pretty close because this one in chatswood is usually full as well especially the weekends gotta be there early otherwise you might need to wait 30 mins standing outside lining up!!

I went there occasionally but the standard of food are quite high. I like the lunch set which is better value. I don't like the 'milk tea', too sweet and the cold water , you can taste it's tap water!

I don't see what the fuss is about when it comes to Mamak. The food is decent but not incredibly delicious, and the prices are pretty standard. I find it pretty amazing how on a Friday or Saturday night it'll be common to line up for 20 minutes to get a table. The staff are pretty friendly and know how to keep calm even in stressful situations.

THis was the first maylasian restaurant i had been to and it was the most amazing experience ever. The food was very very tasty and the dessert was the highlight of the evening. The dessert was a cone tower sprinkled with sugar and just melted in my mouth. It was simply devine. I recommend this restaurant to many people, it is amazing.

Only the best place for roti canai (flying roti) in Sydney. So fluffy and light, especially when it's hot. This is just like the one back in Malaysia, albeit >10x the price back home. But beggars can't be choosers! Glad to have a taste of home, you've got to admit :)

It looks like a very popular Malaysian eatery in Chatswood. The number of people waiting to get a seat during lunch proves that point. Anyway I have been to this place a few times now and really enjoyed the food and also the atmosphere there. The satay is very good including the fried rice and chicken.

If you are a Malaysian or a malaysian cuisine hunter, one will never have not heard of Mamak. The huge line for entry to its restaurant is good proof of the popularity that this restaurant hold. The Malaysian food is well, of good Malaysian standards, and if you are Malaysian thats a pretty high standard to achieve especially if you are in australia. Food is expensive though comparative to malaysia, but in australian dollars terms they are standard. Nasi lemak, fired chicken, chicken rice, curry are all one should try, not forgetting the satay.
