Mattress Sanitising vs Mattress Cleaning. What is the difference? What do I need?

Mattress Sanitising is the extraction of both sides of your mattress. This process leaves your mattress free of dust mites, their eggs and dust mite excrement. The extraction process also rids your mattress of dead skin, the primary food source of the dust mite and leaves your mattress in a much healthier state, the benefits to you are a sound and restful nights sleep and wakening without sneezing, itchy eyes or coughing.

Your mattress is treated with an anti allergen solution and an anti dust mite sanitiser which protects the mattress from re-infestation for up to 6 months. The process is virtually dry except for the treatments which will leave the exterior of your mattress slightly damp for 20-30 minutes. All treatments are US EPA, USDA A-1 approved and are completely safe for you and your family and have shown fantastic results in relieving the symptoms of allergies and asthma in the bedroom.

Mattress Cleaning is required for spills, stains or odours and is most effective when used in conjunction with the sanitising process. Mattress Cleaning is required for urine, sweat, blood and all other bodily secretions. Mattress Cleaning is a wet process where I use different products and techniques to remove the offending spills, stains or odours.

In most cases, cleaning stains from mattresses is most effective within 24 hours. The stain removal products and techniques I use can leave your mattress a little damp so depending on the severity of the stains your mattress may need up to 12 hours to dry time.

My two part treatment used for urine or vomit on a mattress is very effective. Immediate knock down of odours is accomplished as part A combines with part B. Urine and Vomit are neutralized and your mattress is once again odour free. While the mattress is being treated highly concentrated bacteria spores work to produce enzymes that consume the organic sources within the vomit or urine. The combination is truly effective.

Your steam cleaner has no such choice pumping mass quantities of liquid into and then out of your carpet leaving the pile saturated and at risk of attracting mold and bacteria particularly in the underlay which remains wet long after the carpet feels dry.

The crystal polymer shampoo used when cleaning your office carpets goes to work immediately, attacking, suspending and separating soils from the fibers in your carpet and as fibers dry the crystal polymers that surround or encapsulate the pile act as a protection barrier against further spills and soiling.

We had a mattress cleaned and he was amazing. He explained the process and even pointed out a fault with our mattress. I called on a Sunday night and he arrived Monday afternoon. Payment was easy, as I was able to transfer money rather than have to withfraw cash from a bank.

I employed Steve to clean my rug. It is approximately 5 years old and a cream colour so I was worried some of the marks would not come out. The result was perfect, the price was great and Steve is very friendly. I have used Drytron before and was unhappy with the results. Steve was 100% better than they were.
