I called Liam on a Friday night after hours. He’d never done work for me but I had been given his number. He was totally engaged as soon as I mentioned my problems.

He talked me through the possible problem and remedies and was very happy to help me get sorted. We got the power working again including hot water.

Very polite, very professional, and declined to bill me

For me, I very highly recommend. Cheers Peter F

We hired Liam (And Daniel) for replacement kitchen work and a lot of additional extras, he was friendly, professional and a great communicator. Liam worked closely with the plumber and went above and beyond what we expected from and electrician. Liam was very accommodating to my indecisiveness and mind changing. We definitely intend to use May Group again.

Positives: Liam is very friendly, polite and accomodating. Nothing is too much trouble. Communication, timeliness, attention to detail are all excellent. Liam also informed me every step of the way exactly what he was doing. He did a lovely job replacing my pendant. Negatives: Unfortunately Liam’s pricing is not clear and there was some confusion at how he came to $300 for under 2 and 1/2 hours of work @ $75/hr so maybe ask for a written itemised quote to ensure clarity. Also Liam was unable to replace a faulty safety switch due to not stocking any in his van. In order to have our lights working he had to put the cable from the faulty safety switch to a working one and 2 days later some of our lights keep going out. He wanted to charge another $200 to come back out to replace the faulty safety switch and another old recall one. I have edited my initial review from 5 stars to 3 stars due to this. Sorry Liam. I would expect most electricians to have spares.

Liam was really friendly, nice and accommodating. He was meant to come just after lunch but came late as he got stuck at a previous job however he kept me posted and updated on the timing. He didn't have time to fix it in the arvo so he had to come back the next day. In terms of the job, he got it fixed, we had a switch that was faulty which was triggering our safety so we had no lights. He diagnosed the problem and we went about trying to find it. Took about 1.5 hours to find it and we eventually did and the problem solved. One thing I like about Liam is that he was teaching me along the way and explaining why he was doing things so I was aware of the nature of his work. While it did end up costing a bit to fix it all, I could see Liam doing his best, make sure he didn't' cut corners and explaining everything on the way. My first impression that he was an honest guy and looking to save me costs whereby trying different ways to solve the problem in the shortest amount of time. Thank you, Liam.
