Best Indian restaurant I have ever tried in sydney. Very authentic , good and clean staff and average prices. I've tried the butter chicken and the chicken massala and they were soooo good. must visit !

The Food is uniquly and authentic Indian dishes. The service is first rate, and being in Surry Hills its a great location to most Sydney Siders. The prices are very good and the food as I say is exceptional, If you love Indian you will love this restaurant. Its Magic!

Excellent selection for Veg heads also my Erstwhile Vegetarian friend was bragging how good this palce was for the selection after we went so that is certainl;y very high praise.

Through food is amazing. best Indian food in Sydney. there is a good choice for Veg heads and carnivorous types. Food often comes out quickly and they offer a complimentary starter which is appreciated.

I like the food in this restaurant. We ordered the chicken biryani, chicken rogan josh, basmati rice and a garlic naan. Customer service was good. Just bit too crowded.

maya da dhaba (maya's restaurent) is one of the traditional south asian restaturent, especially it presented typical indian food, nice atmoshphere.

its an Indian restaurant and has lots of Indian flavor to there food specially the butter chicken and tandoori . I will definitely go there next time

Maya da Dhaba in my opinion is the preeminent Indian restaurant in Sydney. I go there at least a couple of times a month. The Dal Makhini is amazing and price is very reasonable.

This is my pick from the row of Indian restaurants that decorate Cleveland street. The food is superb and the service is very personal. I've been back time and again for their $13 thali and for shared banquets with friends. Although my partner and I had our first date here, I'd recommend it more for a pre-show dinner or get-togethers with friends. This is mainly due to the tiled floor (serviceable but not so atmospheric) and the distractions of the busy street outside.
