Just had my hair done by Mel and I couldn’t be happier. She completely transformed the colour and cut of my hair, it was exactly what I was looking for. All the staff are extremely friendly and I felt comfortable from the moment I walked into the salon! I have already made my next appointment.

I have long hair and Mayko is the only place I trust to colour and style it. No one is scissor happy here. They listen, suggest colours/styles and stay on the same page for a great result.

I have been going to this salon for a couple of years now and was there tonight. When I arrive I’m taken straight to my chair and offered a refreshment of my choice. Not sitting around waiting to see my hairdresser - great time scheduling on their part. I am met with a friendly inviting group of staff who make me feel very welcome. Lots of friendly chat and a genuine interest of how i am - like catching up with a friend for coffee really,however its all about the end result. I am listened to about what i want, I’m heard when i voice an opinion on what i want and i walk out with the colour, style and look that i wanted. Highly recommend.

Emma gave me the best haircut and blow waved my hair in a fabulous style I have not had for a long time and it looked great and made me feel great. I have been going to Mayko since I moved to the Peninsula and my experience just keeps getting better and better. Mel and her amazing staff are always friendly and so professional. I know that I will get well considered advice and care by the extremely well trained team who really listen to any concerns I have and the results when I leave the salon are always fabulous. Their colouring skills are second to none and the price point is extremely reasonable for such superior service and knowledge. Highly recommended!
