Great service lovely pub but food not great for value ordered garlic prawns $25 arrived small plate of rice with 9 prawns! Dissapointed had to have a meal at home afterwards!

Our local pub has been very busy with some amazing renovations and a new chef offering the most delicious salads and a fabulous new menu which I am sure will be pleasing to everyone. Some meals are a little pricey, but so delicious and very nicely presented. i love schnitzel so I ordered the Bushman, this is a must, so delish, topped off with a fried egg. My husband tried the black angas steak 300g with hot mustard, loved it.
Tuesday is seafood night
Wednesday is $50 family night - 2 Adults & 2 kids
Thursday is $13 schnitzel night
The staff are lovely and the owners are such nice friendly people.

It had been a while since dining here so my family decided to see what their meals were like. Prices were a little high but our meals were of course perfect. My steak was to my liking and everyone enjoyed their schnitzels and chips. Service was prompt, serves generous and the staff quite friendly.

They have been making some changes and I believe it is for the better. The staff are always friendly and ready for a chat, meal prices are ok, the servings could be more generous. No complaints about the quality and taste.

It had been a while since having a pub meal here so we decided to give them another try. Our last few visits had been disappointing. Once again the prices have increased but the meal size hasn't. They have a specials board advertising a different meal each day of the week priced at $12, the size of these meals are not so generous and these nights are extremely busy. Besides this, the staff are always friendly and their meals really are tasty, just a bit pricey in comparison to others in the area.

Once again with family visiting they wanted a meal at our local pub. Our previous experience wasn't fantastic, buy they wanted to go, so off we went. Prices seem to be increasing each time, their usual daily specials have jumped up yet the meals appear to be shrinking. They are tasty but not worth the price. Staff are always extremely friendly and like a good chat, I just think they need to improve the dining experience.

A great country pub, the owners/staff are always friendly, ready for a chat. My family have enjoyed many meals here, although I have noticed that their prices have increased quite a lot and the servings have actually decreased in size, especially if you dine on one of their special menu days. I noticed they have a new menu so I will give them another try and hope for the best.

The Meadows Hotel has been a bit of a let down recently, I have found that the prices have increased, yet the meals seem to be shrinking. My family recently tried the thursday schnitzel deal at $10 with gravy being extra, the meal was about average, actually disappointing. I should have stuck with the fishermen's basket as that has always been fresh and tasty. I will say that the staff are always friendly and our meals are served promptly.

I might take a break from the Meadows Hotel for a while and hope it improves.

I recently went here with my friends and have to say I was a bit disappointed, the prices have certainly increased. I couldn't believe it cost $20 for a chicken schnitzel with gravy - the gravy was extra. It wasn't a large serving, actually it looked more like entree size. In future I will only go here on their special meal nights as it is a lot cheaper, it's just it was a saturday night and we wanted a pub meal. We were all very disappointed.

However, our meals were served quickly even though it was very busy and everyone was friendly. Large dining areas, including outside.

My family love going to this pub, it has a real country feel to eat and the owners are such nice friendly people. I went here over the weekend with my husband and in-laws and had a wonderful lunch. One of my favourites is the chicken schnitzel, my husband order the fishermen's basket and said it was great, really enjoyed his fish. Also eaten was the salt and pepper squid and beef schnitzel. All our servings were large with chips and either salad or vegies. The prices have increased since we were last here and you also have to pay an extra $3.00 for the gravy (it is worth the $3).
If you are looking for a cheaper option I suggest you go on sunday - thursday as on these days they have $10 meals. Very friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and of course clean and tidy. Also pokies if you are into them. Definitely recommend.
