I have been going to Medlands on and off since 1999. They have been around for so long and their service has never changed it has always been first class!!
My dad used to go to them and he was petrified of dentists. They had their lovely comfort lady come and sit with him and hold his hand through the whole first appointment.
In the last 4 years I have started back with medlands seeing dr Morrison. He is a kind and genuine dentist who only recommends what needs to be done. He is calming and recently I had to have a crown which I was petrified of having but it was surprisingly a good experience.
I have been to other dentists who don’t even make sure your tooth is fully asleep before they start drilling or slicing into it and I sit there in agony. Dr Morrison is pedantic about the tooth being dead asleep and I have never felt a thing when he is working on my teeth. I am scared of swallowing the numbing gel as well and they are so careful that I don’t.
I would highly recommend this dental surgery. They are a bit more pricy but much more worth it for the experience and care taken.

I travel from Redcliffe to see Ian Morrison. He is so thorough, caring and passionate about his work. It is great to find someone who I feel completely confident in - worth the trip for the superb service!!

Looking for quality dentistry with true professionals who have a lab on site so you know what is going into your mouth? I was and I found it. Medlands impressed me and I am not easily impressed these days. They run a smooth operation from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. My cap fitted a treat ...probably because I actually got to meet the technician who made it - I said it was first class. Highly recommend.

I visited Medland Dental as I hadn't been to a dentist for about three years - I am REALLY nervous and I had heard from a work colleague that they were great. From the moment they picked up the phone I felt relaxed and in safe hands. The receptionist explained how long I would be there, what the first session would cost and asked me if I had any particular problems. When I arriveded the staff were so professional and attentive. I did need to go back for four appointments (I expected that) but they condensed my treatment as I am time poor. I had happy gas and listened to music on an ipod whilst I was being seen. I even got a lift back to work after my appointments in their courtesy car. Recommend them - absolutely :-)

I started going to Medland Dental Practice a few years ago after being recommended by a friend. After my family dentist retired I started going to one recommended by my health fund. The difference between the two is unbelievable! I am scared of needles and I can now (almost) say that I enjoy going to the dentist! My dentist usually runs to time (you get a sms message if she is running late), I always feel that she takes the time to listen to me and explain my options, they give you music through headphones to listen to during the appointment and happy gas, and even a warm towel to freshen up after your appointment. It's like flying first class (well, so I'm told)! I have never had a problem with them. You definitely pay more, but I'm happy to do so when you get looked after so well. They are a large practice with the number of dentists. I saw one of the other dentists with mine was on holidays and he was great too!

This is a five-star establishment - if you go by the fact that they have a classy setting, state-of-the-art equipment, Merlo coffee on demand and even hot towels as a pick-me-up after your appointment. Disappointingly however, my crown came off after 3 years - they are supposed to last 5 to 10 - and they charged me a whopping $250 to put it back on even though it didn't last as long as it should have (through no fault of mine). I was told that if I had been to regular 6 monthly checkups I might not have been charged so much but because I hadn't been back in a year they would not honour the guarantee. This is also without a doubt the most expensive dentist I have ever been to so I would have to say after this experience it is not worth the money. They treated me very well until this happened so I am very disappointed and now go elsewhere.
