I have tried many different types of name labels in my parenting career. These were amongst the first and they are still stuck - six years later. They don't have the widest design variety and are not the cheapest but they are definitely the most durable and therefore the best value. I have also tried their iron on labels and they have stayed put too. I am done with shopping around - I will always buy these from now on.
The food here is fresh and tasty, no real wow factor but consistently good. The serving sizes are really generous so you won't leave hungry. The staff are friendly and service is fast, and the prices are very reasonable. The menu is quite extensive and they are happy to tweak things for you if you want. A dependable Brisbane institution.
This might be the worst Indian food I've ever eaten. The pakora and bonda were undercooked and raw in the middle, and the curries had obviously been frozen and reheated (there was actually a still-frozen pea in there). The only edible dish was the steamed rice. A truly awful meal. Give it a miss.
Simpatico is a tapas bar and as such the servings are not huge - but that just means there is room for dessert. The food here is delicious and the fried green olives are a must-try. The prices are really reasonable and the atmosphere is relaxed but not too casual.
This is not the cheapest Thai food around but it is definitely some of the best. The location is gorgeous, a bit tucked away but nevertheless right in the midst of South Bank, on the edge of the canal. A lovely setting for a meal with a glass of wine that is either purchased from their wine list or BYO.
I would describe this as cheap and cheerful, though the decor is slightly better than that might imply. Really tasty food and the serving sizes are gigantic - you won't leave hungry. Very good value for money and the menu is extensive.
Remember what Chinese takeaway used to taste like when you were a kid? That's what this is like - in a good way. Old favourites like fried rice and chow mein done really well.Traditional and authentic food for really reasonable prices, fast and friendly service. Will be putting this on my Friday night regular list.
What a great little place for a weekend meal - I had a very long loud lunch here recently and the staff were endlessly patient and didn't bat an eyelid at us finishing lunch at 5pm. The food was great and it is BYO so you can have champagne with your all-day breakfast if you wish. Great experience.
The food here is what I would describe as pretty average, I've been few times now and have never been that impressed. What is amazing about this place is the tablet ordering system - each table has its own touch-screen monitor and you can order as soon as you sit down - and keep on ordering if you wish. The service is fast and friendly and the novelty hasn't quite worn off yet.
This is a great service - you can very quickly and easily book online for lots of restaurants and earn reward points doing so. I booked for a restaurant in South Brisbane and was able to do it at a time convenient to me. They send you a confirmation email to let you know your booking has been accepted. Fantastic!
