Nothing wrong with this place... except they don't open very much. Came here a couple of times in our trip to Tasmania and they weren't open. Needless to say, only came here once for dinner and wasn't too keen on trying anything as there wasn't anything outstanding that I cared to eat at the prices on offer. And the food itself was fairly average.

Oh, and they only do Pho for lunch. I mean... what???

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Mekong Restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. A good thing about the menu was that there was a wide variety to choose from, without having large amounts of similar dishes. This made choosing a meal a lot easier. Four of us chose four very different meals which we shared, and enjoyed every one. The flavours were subtle and fragrant. The service was exceptional and the staff were all really friendly. The prices were very reasonable, and as a bonus the restaurant is in the Entertainment Book. We used our voucher, and received 25% discount on what was an excellent meal. They also allow BYO, which is always appreciated.
I highly recommend the Mekong to anyone wanting a simple and delicious meal.
