Nice Korean food, the pork was really delicious. The dishes were authentic and at an affordable cost.

I had never experienced Korean BBQ dining so thought I would give it a try when we were in Melbourne cbd. My partner and I decided on Hwaro Korean BBQ as it was closest to our accommodation.

The ambience was pleasant with the dim lighting and cosy seating areas.

We were given the menus and decided to order a selection of different meats.

The waitress brought out a large pot of hot coals and placed a metal grill over the coals. An exhaust fan was pulled down from the ceiling above our table and the waitress placed the first lot of meats onto the grill.

The waitress kept coming over and turning the meat for us and basically did all of the cooking for us. She explained how the meat is eaten wrapped in the lettuce and dipped into the sauces. Shredded vegetable side dishes and rice were also provided for us to add to the meat.

The quality of the food was good and the cuts of meat tasted delicious and were all tender. We found the portions to be a little small as we were still a bit hungry after our meal.

The staff were quite friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our dining experience.

My husband and I came to Melbourne for a holiday, and find out about this place. We ended up came here 3 times within a week.
Love the atmosphere, love the food, and love the look of the restaurant....
I will definitely visit again next time we are in Melbourne.

Great place for authentic korean BBQ and kimchi pork soup. My favorite BBQ meat is the beef cheek. The owner personally receommended this to us and we were thankful he did because we would've never order this otherwise. The meat is so tender and sweet. The bulgogi are well marinated and delicious. Price is slightly higher but well worth the money. This place is always busy so booking is essential.

This is one of the better Korean BBQ's I've been to - the service is excellent, they have a solid air filtering system so you don't walk out smelling of BBQ, and the food itself is excellent. It's not the cheapest BBQ house but you really pay for what you get here.

This is a pretty authentic korean cuisine. The bbq dishes are cooked on the charcoal stove and the bulgogi is nice. The seafood pancake is so-so. It can get pretty busy at times.

I think one of best korean dining in CBD, excellent crews with buzzer and marinated meat(beef and pork) was great. Also, korean bean paste soup and cold noodle were great too! recommendeable korean restaurant!
