Tully Ferdenans — 1 starVery disappointed in the service my parents received. I have been a customer for a while and not had any major issues. Prices are much higher than other aquariums on many items but convenience of location to home is too good to ignore. My parents came into get medicine for their tank. A man with dreadlocks served them and sold them 2 bottles of essentially the same thing. When they asked if they were the same product he went into a talk about how they are different. After i told them it was they returned to the store and saw another staff member who confirmed what i said. This is an appalling way to treat any customer let alone an elderly couple. The way to get customers in the door is to treat them with respect and have competitive prices. Also having the owners daughter leaving a positive review under her name, just shows again that you think customers are stupid. Will not be back neither will any of my friends. Wake up to yourselves ripping people off and thinking they are dumb will not build your business.

After spending hundreds of dollars & then some I am far from happy about the lack of service I received. I bought a 50L tank and all the bits to go with it only for it to start having issues within 6 weeks of buying (the first clean). I called & told them there were issues, They told me the thank is fine & gave advice, with the initial being: cleaning it every 2 days for 10 days. I proceeded to do everything recommended for another 3-4 weeks where the tank only got worse. I called to get the tank replaced given it was clear it was the tank but they told me it was my fault, told me to learn about tank chemicals on Google & buy a Ph Kit for $69!! I have had fish tanks for over 15 years & NEVER have had this issue EVER!! I spoke to other pet stores & they all agree that the tank is clearly faulty. Mentone Aquariums were rude & took no responsibility for faulty equipment, I have now been forced to buy another tank at my own expense (& now the problem is gone) when this should have been happily replaced. It is not acceptable & not a place I would ever recommend. DO NOT GO THERE!

Have visited this shop many times, either to buy animals, products, or just to look around. I felt as though this place could do with some updates, tanks looked very dirty and some had deceased fish. Reptiles kept in great condition. Although some tanks too high for young children to look inside. All round good business. Staff could be improved as felt like I was being ignored for most of the time I needed assistance.

i love all the different animals here, not just fish but reptiles too. A large selection of tanks, cleaning products, decor and service that are always offering to help. i was happy with my purchase

i needed a replacement fish tank light tube so got one ordered from these guys six weeks later still hadnt heard from them about my light so got onto them just to find out they (claim) it hadnt arrived with the order. funny thing is orders come weekly so six times it didnt come? in the end talked to manager put down deposit and it was ordered then and there but now nearly another month gone still no sign of the light. its at the point i just want to get my deposit back and they can loose a regular customer
