The starters with fresh oysters, prawns, were good, the sushi rolls were a bit dry. The hot food included a selection of Chilli con Carne, pasta, roast lamb, roast pork and barramundi fillets. There was also a curry laksa soup which was tasty as well as a cream of broccoli soup. The desserts were the highlight, with self serve ice cream cones, a selection of 5 - 6 pastries and a chocolate fountain. The apple crumble was delicious.
A good meal with something for everyone.

A fairly typical hotel restaurant. They offer the option of a buffet or a la carte. Both are fairly similar in standard and quality, which treads the realm of mid range acceptability. Nothing particularly exciting in flavours, compositions, quality/rarity of ingredients used or unqiue aspects of execution.

Recently we went for a lunch buffet at MESH. It was just opposite my company so our suppliers took us there for a Xmas lunch party. It was packed with people due to the occasion and bookings were all full. Food varieties were good despite the main meals such as Fish, Roast and Chicken were taking such a long time to serve. The cold entrees were good and wide selection. The desserts were great! I must say the petite tarts, cakes and ice creams were fantastic though i wished there were more ice cream flavors.

The cold platter dishes out the steamed prawns and they were juicy and nice! Worth while to visit with an empty stomach. Also one gets a glass of wine with the buffet.

Have been on a Saturday night to enjoy a buffet on 2 occasions with a large family group, paying $65 per head. The variety of dishes was extremely limited and the quality was average. It was extremely dissapointing especially being situated at the crown and also joining the Crown Promenade.

I was at Mesh for dinner saturday night, it wasn't busy and yet the finished plates sat on the table piling up. Food variety and quality isn't as good as what it used to be although the desserts were nice. Definitely gone down hill since I last went, not really value for money anymore. The venue looks nice but overall disappointed

I have been to mesh for a few functions and have found the seafood buffet to be beautiful on the first few occasions but the last time I went, I found the crab to not be as sweet and fresh as those previous times, however all the hot meals were gorgeous. I'm not one to go for curries at a buffet, but one two occassions the different curries were so spicy and delicious. The dessert bar is out of this world, everything from self serve ice cream with all the trimmings, (not your standard ice- cream either, the most beautiful sorbets and ice-creams) to individual cakes and mousses. For the price you pay, it is VERY well worth what you get.

Have been here three times and most recent was most disappointing. The quality and variety of food has gone downhill and there is no longer good value for money here.

Nice looking venue, good for large groups. Waiter explained very well how to order drinks and main courses. All received a drinks card entitling each person to three drinks. Beer, wine or soft drink. Our table of 20 there on a Friday night so it was the $44 grill menu. Entree was a buffet with salads, seafood and antipasto dishes. All those who had prawns and oysters enjoyed them. The choices for main were lamb, roast beef, fish, chicken or steak. All of the steaks at my end of the table arrived quite over cooked. The first round of drinks arrived promptly, the second round was well into main course and only half the table received what they ordered. The third round order were never taken. Dessert buffet looked impressive, the icecreams were the best part. Some of the mousse cups and cake slices were a bit dried up.
