Great place to rent cars within city area at a reasonable price. I made the booking few months ahead to get a good price for a small car at $56.00 and it was worth it. Automatic, new - cheap and easy to rent it within CBD, I dropped it back at the airport.
Procedure was easy and everything was perfect.
I'd definitely book AVIS again for my future car rentals.

Every summer, come here to pluck red juicy sweet cherries at this orchard. There are various kinds of sweet cherries to indulge in. Entry fees for adult is AU$8.00 and cherries that you have picked in a bucket will be weighed at A$10.00 per kg.
Easy access of parking and lovely spot to do your own fruit picking. There are ladders available to climb and pick the cherries. It's a wonderful place to visit and buy cherries! The service is great too.

Went to try out this Jap eatery at the new Eastland Town Sq last Sat. Place was packed with people by 12noon. I've ordered 1 X Sushi 7 set (AU$18), an iced Matcha latte and finishing off with a black sesame custard puff (AU$4.00).
The desserts and drinks were reasonable as what I can see from the prices I just had in my recent Japan trip. The sushi, sashimi, bento set were on pricey end.
Nevertheless food was nice and service was great.

Tip: Most of the workers are Japanese and polite. :D
Will return to try the parfait, takoyaki and bento set.

The little cafe is popular among seniors and even locals in Bayswater. They provide discount for seniors and their desserts are lovely. My parents often visit the shop and even know the owner and his family.

A very friendly family and their speciality is the vanilla slice.
The vanilla slice is crispy and not even sweet. The lamingtons and eclairs are also good. Prices are reasonable and good.
They also serve morning breakies & light meals at the most $10.50 which is cheaper compared to other cafes.

The fish and chips would be the more expensive one but most people would go for soup of the day with ciabatta for only $6.00. U might be surprised the vanilla slices are baked freshly everyday by the owner's wife.

The bucket meal is worth while and cheap for students and workers who are on budget. It's only $10 and comes with big portion of rice, meat and vege along with a hash potato.

To be honest we tried its fried chicken (which is usually famous in Korean dramas) and it didn't turn out that nice though it was uniquely cooked with some tteokpoki in it.
It wasn't the taste and the flavour I wanted and quite different to other restaurants. Other than the fried chicken, the bucket meals are cheap & good.

The restaurant is quite small and narrow too. It's the same row with Maccas on Swanston St.

O'Town is tucked along the railway line and after Dan Brown's liquor shop. The place serves up plenty of M'sian hawker delights and drinks. Its famous Penang White Curry Mee is a must to try (not to be confused with the instant noodle version)

The Ipoh Hor Fun noodles and White Curry Mee are my favorites. There is also Prawn Noodle Soup (Hokkein Mee) and chee cheong fun, claypot dishes and many more to choose. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant has a big replica of the mural two children on a bicycle- made famous by the public artist Ernest Zacharevic in Penang's Georgetown heritage area.

This little place is a gem offering dry noodles with char siu and roast meat which is known as Kampua Noodles. Their set is pretty worth while and many people have eaten/ordered it.

I've tried its Fish Fillet Noodle Soup which was less than A$10.00 which was a bargain. Portions are huge and I can't even finish it. Service was fast and efficient too.
I have yet to try its Nasi Pattaya and Pan Mien. There are clayplots and stir fry noodles/rice too at a reasonable price.

This review is for Madam Kwan's Box Hill, Box Hill VIC

Decided to try this new M'sian restaurant which has replaced the former Straits of Malacca. Sandwiched in a corner and opposite Box Hill's TAB and Hills BBQ restaurant, it's not so popular as it's out of the main central unless one really look hard into it.
Place is indeed spacious and upstairs is avail but food is so-so. Menu is extensive but I wonder if the chefs are up to the standard.

I ordered a Fish Fillet Noodle Soup and it turned out the soup was lukewarm and not even hot at all. This was terrible. Worst of all I was overcharged and the cashier cheated $5.00 from my bill. When I confronted her, she was doubtful until I told her to check the CCTV which she was afraid so she quietly returned my money back.

Not going back anymore. There are plenty of better eateries in Box Hill to eat than to consider this one.

This review is for Fearnley Massage Therapy, Ringwood VIC

It was my first time attending a remedial massage since I suffered some aches on my tendons and muscles after running in the gym. The message therapist was very good and she was friendly too. I booked the earliest session a.m on Sat and the gym was packed with people. I must say the place is a small corner in the fitness centre. But service was great and price was reasonable for a 45 min session. I got to claim back from my private health insurance so it was all good.
I'd definitely go back again to this therapist. Nice!
