Thank you Nick and team for a stellar job!
I can honestly say in all my years of dealing with customer service, this has been by far the best experience

Our Smeg fridge stopped cooling which as anyone can imagine is quite an emergency! One phone call is all it took before the team at Metropolitan Appliance services were on our doorstep to pick up the faulty fridge and supply us with another whilst they addressed the problem.To our delight, due to unexpected time delays in obtaining spare parts, they offered to replace the faulty fridge with a brand new Smeg fridge at no cost!!

We are elated with the outcome and can't thank the boys enough for their friendly, professional and efficient service.

The staff at the counter and on the phone simple hates their work. They give you an attitude when you ring them & send your Applicance for repair. They keyed our phone numbers wrong & I waited 3 weeks for a microwave which they repeated said they couldn't find our number they keyed it wrong.

Wow, seems like I was lucky to have actually had my oven door fixed after months of appalling customer service and any sense of organizational capability or management skills from this company. I was almost ready to fork out > $2k for a new oven just so I didn't have to deal with this company again! Thankfully manufacturer's head office in Sydney felt sorry for me and is covering the costs after the rigmarole I have had to go through to get my oven door repaired after it shattered unexpectedly. Customers be warned!!

I wish I had read this site before ringing them for a quote. This goes far beyond a joke as regards to a business and the service they don't provide. I had broken the glass on my oven door and this is the recommended service by Blanco so rang for a quote to put through insurance. The reception staff did not seem to have a clue and had to keep asking someone. They gave an original quote which was over $500. I was given another quote when ringing to organise which was just over $250 and as the excess is $250 decided to pay myself and placed an order. I did not think the staff had got it right as staff was saying this oven only had 2 glass panels but I said it looked like it had 3. The one I had broken was on the inside as the door was open. I waited 2 weeks for the installer to finally turn up with the wrong part. Yes the door does have 3 glass panels and they had sent the inner glass. How do you only break an inner glass panel without damaging the outer. I believe this was done on purpose as they did not have the part I needed and as I had to pay the installer on the spot I was unable to go elsewhere as I would have to pay again. That was 3 months ago and I have just been told after ringing yet again that it will be another 2 months! Imagine being without an oven for all that time!

Beyond anything I have ever experienced before. 6 weeks so far without an oven because they keep guessing what might be wrong with it instead of actually doing some investigating. $150 so far and still not working. Ordered a part. 2 weeks later 'oh it isn't that at all'. It must be your circuit. Rang electrican, came and said there is nothing wrong with the circuit. MAS come around again and says well it must be the control panel which is broken we'll order you one of those. I told them they need to stop guessing what might be wrong. Tradie who turns up armed with nothing other than a screwdriver and a clipboard.

Mt experience with this firm was very good - I booked the day and the day before it was due they gave me the time they were due. They called 30 minutes before arrival, as promised, and the service on my oven was done quickly and efficiently. It would have been better if they could have told me a likely time when booked, but other than that all fine.

I recently brought an Oven from Harvey Norman, within two days all the markings on the knobs had rubbed off and the operational light on the front panel had fallen into the panel. I rang and asked MAS to come and repair as the oven is still under warranty. The staff said these things were not a warranty issue and they would have to get the parts. That were 14 weeks ago, I have phoned several times to be told the parts have not arrived..... They never call me or show any interest in their customers, Very poor service, I am not impressed.

my oven hinge door broke just before we moved into the house. didn't think it was an issue... 13 weeks later, oven door hinge now well and truly broken and no use from over for over 8weeks... i was a little peeved to put it mildly.. In the end, I called eastern states, tracked down the parts and had to organise for them to be shipped. SERIOUSLY!! its an oven, basic necessity in a family home. I am shocked that they have been chosen as the warranty service team for European ovens.. the range hood also went around the same time.. however 3 visits and over a year later its still not fixed... They forgot to pack the part last time they were booked but still haven't heard that phonecall i was supposed to receive 2 weeks on. Fiddling with the electrics to get it going, isn't really fixing the problem is it!! If i could give a "zero" rating I would. I'm only going through them not by choice :( Very very unsatisfied customer..

Very bad customer service. Cant book am or pm. Just a day! First repairer said are you sure the oil (all over the sheets and quilt cover) came from the washing machine. Then machine had to be taken away to be repaired. Nobody told the workshop guys to pick it up. Told management was going to ring me back. I had to ring back on Monday morning. Like the previous person told parts were being order one time when someone else said they were fitted and tested. Reply to their poor customer service was 'you don't work in the service industry, it is always like this'. When told to ring about machine being fixed and waiting to be delivered the staff said yes the parts have come in and are being fitted- can't believe that. I think that it's there reply to all inquiries. Only good point is that they fixed machine under warranty.
