Scam! Can only think it must be to target the vulnerable who don't know or feel pressured. Advance payment of $140 for them to attend and quote! Quoted $2,139.00 (!!) for dishwasher plumb only as requested. Already had new dishwasher and electrical socket. I scoffed out loud and when I advised I did not have $2K, Metropolitan guy kept repeating that they provide finance options (HUMM & ZIP). Clearly that is how they scam/trap the vulnerable into disgusting overcharges. The FOUR other quotes I've also had are between $275 & $585. They are completely off the scale and a rip-off. Do not use. There are many other options out there. Make sure you shop around and get multiple quotes. Most don't even do a call out charge to quote! So don't fall for their scam.

Fools quoted me over $12,000 to replace a hot water system!! Ridiculous itemised charges including a $600 base. Offered me interest free finance if i agreed to go ahead on the spot. IF it needed replacing the same system should have been $4000. A local plumber came out, fiddled with it for 15 mins and I had hot water an hour later for $90. They must make their money on call out fees and the few poor vulnerable people who fall for their "covid sent prices up" rubbish.

Ad says response within one hour! They took 6 hours and charged a call-out fee of $140 for doing nothing but tell me it would cost them $4300 to replace a broken external garden tap! Needless to say I didn’t go ahead! Lady answering the phone answered for another company as well. When asked why she said they have a “sister” company!

Disgusting lowlifes "praying on the elderly and venerable"! They went to my parents property which is actually my investment property and tried to push my elderly parents into paying $7,000 for a new hot water system which my parents nearly went ahead with! Luckily they called us first and I called my plumber after finding this out and he replaced it for under $2,000! I went onto google to look at these guys and there is an A Current Affair show from last year describing exactly this "praying on the elderly and venerable"! You absolutely disgust me, I don't know how you sleep at night and it amazes me that you can still behave like this even after being called out by A Current Affair! I thought I would at least do my bit and write a review about your dishonest and appalling business and behaviour!

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS They are currently under several investigations for over charging customers, particularly in emergency situations, they are facing federal Court for tax evasion and will likely go in ot liquidation very soon. Every aspect of this business is immoral. You will be 'fleeced'.

Tradesman who came out for a gas fitting job was very knowledgable and friendly - and did job as requested - though price was exorbitant, i.e. more than 4 x what I've since found out to be the going rate for comparable job. Very disappointing as I work in the construction industry myself and believe in fair price for good service. Not cheap price for cheap job, nor a rort. Companies like this only win short term, especially now that I've seen the majority of other reviews saying a similar story.

Please do not use this company. Having just moved to Brisbane and needing a basic tap replacement for a laundry connection we called this company not researching them before hand. Little did I know what a bad move that was. Charged an exorbitant amount which when I questioned the technician advised I should pay and then if I had issues resolve it with them via their call centre. Have now called 5 times trying to resolve this. One of the crazy fees charged was $699 to connect and test the washing machine: seriously? This was not something I asked for or authorised.
