Micky's

Micky's is a legendary famous cafe in Paddington. Micky's is probably one the longest standing cafes in the area, the reason for this is the great reasonable priced food and the great service.

Love this place! The $10 specials keep me coming back here. The pasta ($10 on Tuesdays) is unreasonably expensive for its size on other days ($17.50 upwards) but is delicious! So Tuesdays it is! The thickshakes are amazing - my favourites are the salted caramel, and ferrero rocher. Friendly waitstaff and good atmosphere. It's usually fairly full, so it feels lively, and the service is uncompromised by the numbers of people.

The $10 specials are rad, I love Chicken Schnitzel night! Had the best homemade Honeycomb, with amazing dark chocolate dipping sauce. The only downside was the entree, I had calamari, and they were a) flavourless and b) chewy. Also, apart from the $10 specials its a bit pricey for what is basically pub food.

Best desserts in Sydney. When they still did a creme brulee it was the best I had had outside of France. Apple crumble is awesome too...

Has two levels, a balcony and an outdoor seating area. The coffee was pretty good as was the desert. Pretty laid back atmosphere, that transforms somewhat at night to a nice chill restaurant/cafe.
