Mike's country kitchen has been part of Launceston for as long as I can remember, they are always a great place to grab a quick bite to eat. I can't ever remember a time where I have been left waiting here, I can walk in grab what I want and be on my way hassle free. The hot food isn't as fresh as I would like and it seems sandwiches are only made first thing but for what you pay its relatively balanced out

Over the years I have frequented here, especially as a teen looking for an after school snack before starting work. The hot food isnt always a fresh as I would like but you know that walking in. The food is affordable and the store is kept clean

Whenever i'm in the city i go to Mike's for lunch because they are cheaper than most other cafes in the city. They sell a range of takeawy foods, pasta dishes, jacket potatoes, salad sandwiches & rolls, hot & cold drink & even have a carvery. There is no seating inside but out in the plaza there is heaps of tables & chairs. Great service, friendly staff

Mike's Country Kitchen is a great place to go when you're in the city & feel like takeaway. It is a cheaper alternative than places like KFC when you have a few kids to feed. The staff at Mike's are friendly & service is fast. The food at Mike's isn't greasy like a lot of fried foods are elsewhere & their menu includes chips, seafood, other fried takeaways, freshly made rolls & sandwiches from the carvery, a range of freshly made coffee & cold drinks.
