We have purchased a few things from town traders over the years, they always have quality used second hand goods and have been honest to point out any flaws with items. Prices are fair for second hand items, not a cheap as gumtree and similar sites but for a store with overheads and staff to pay they do still keep prices low and fair. They are never pushy but always looking to close a sale so often open to negotiation with bigger priced items. Don't expect a massive discount but they are normally happy to knock a few dollars off items.
Not the best confectionery store but certainly not the worst either, one of the few places that stock Dr. Pepper and other international brands. The milkshakes are nice and a good price but certainly didn't blow my socks off. Like most lolly shops they are overpriced in comparison to shopping at a supermarket or buying bulk but a cute novelty when out with the family
Pearts have been part of Launceston for as long as I can recall, they are a great shop to find almost anything from craft supplies to home wares. The staff are friendly and inviting and know their product placement well. Prices have always been low and competitive. Sometimes it is overwhelming how much stock they have, but they will always help get you in the right direction if your wanting something specific rather than just browsing
A nice selection of both flowers and gift ware, prices are what you normally expect from a florist with basic arrangements starting upwards of $25 depending on the flowers. Parking is convenient and staff are friendly and happy to let you browse without hovering like other places, but easy to approach if you do need any help.
Approximate cost: $25
A wonderful little spot to grab a quiet drink with friends and family or just alone. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and approachable, the wife doesn't really enjoy alcoholic beverages much but after a few questions they made a recommendation with that she was extremely happy with. (kind of disappointing as I am used to finishing her drinks) can't wait to visit again
Half the service was great, the wait and bar staff were wonderful but despite being a patron in what I would consider a quiet time we waited a very long time for a warm meal, considering the wait we didn't mention it to the staff as we didn't have time for it to be corrected and we were now starving. I ordered the lamb shanks which were tasty but would have been amazing served hot.
I was inspired to try This cafe after hearing they offered different flavors of iced chocolate. I was very impressed with their choc orange. The price was fair and the service was quick and efficient. Can't wait to try something new
I would not have expected such an amazing cafe in the kings way, A friend had said they got an amazing coffee after a gym session one night and suggested that we stop there next time. The first thing I noticed in the cafe was the amazing variety of desserts, I knew my wife would be like a child in a candy shop, my wife and I shared a slice of dark choc mint slice whilst we chatted with our friends over coffee. The environment was relaxing and not too busy.
Not normally a venue I would select for a meal, but as a friend wanted a group booking this venue was selected. We were all seated together, despite the fact our group wasn't massive (12people) no one had meals delivered at the same time, they were staggered and presentation quality was not consistent. The food was hot and tasty but not enough to compensate for the inconvenience of the meals not being served together
After hearing about Lime Korner on our local radio station I decided to pop in next time we were in the area. The reviews certainly didn't leave me disappointed, the vibrant inviting cafe certainly delivers, the staff all well presented and exceptionally friendly without being fake. The menu offers most things you would expect to see in a good cafe, I loved their gravy rolls.
