This was without a doubt a great experience, I love the Marriott at Surfers Paradise and this is a great teppanyaki restaurant located within it with a number of tables and good decor. The food offered, although expensive is superb! I chose the Wagyu and Lobster from a broad range of options and the steak was up there in the top 5 steaks I have ever had. The chef had great skills and put on a good show with the flames and flipping of bowls and eggs and food. All up it was a great experience, although expensive if you don't have a voucher like we did but certainly somewhere to treat yourself on a special occasion.

Approximate cost: $70

A favourite restaurant for us, particularly for our kids. The 'cooking show' restaurant they call it. The early sitting are typically full of kids and they just love it. We even had a birthday party there with their friends and they had a blast. The onion ring volcano is definitely their favourite bit. The food is also fantastic and I particularly like the set combination they have as it makes choosing easier. Don't mind paying a premium for the food as it is worth it. Wouldn't mind lower drink prices though.

Approximate cost: $45.00

If you are looking for a fun night out go and have a meal here. The food is amazing and just keeps on coming out so don't eat anything before you come. You can choose from a few meal plans which offer different combinations and price brackets to suit almost everyone. Keep in mind you get entertained with your meal and this is an art the way they throw food around and never miss the spot. The staff are on it and there to refill drinks and get you anything else you may want as well as clear away the plates etc to get you easy for the next exciting course. Another lovely touch at the end of the night is the message written in salt by the chef who manages to do this upside down........just great!

Approximate cost: $60

Expensive night out, but that's to be expected in a 5-star hotel and it hasn't put us off going again. Secure parking and fine-dining experience, great for a special occasion. Ask for the head-chef although all the chef's are trained well and put on a good show.
The onion ring fire volcano's are a little thrill so have your camera ready. The food is beautiful and the cocktails are yummy although make sure you have a large budget.
I think it's disappointing that the fried rice is 'extra' and not included in the sets, but worth having.

Fantastic quality traditional tepanyaki with some of the best knife flipping/ hat catching I've seen so far! The food is great, although prices are a fair bit higher than other tepanyaki restauraunts on the gold coast the cocktails are fantastic.

Fabulous Teppanyaki meal where the chefs are artists, displaying skills with the knives etc in front of you. The meal was delicious.

Amazing traditional Teppanyaki dinner!
We had the hibachi salmon and it is the best tasted so far.
An gold award winner and their sake is a must try.
One of the restaurants on our list.
