Staff are amazing! The cafe is funky and beautiful. In summer the front glass windows open up and it becomes an open air cafe. The food is amazing- the breakfast is sensational- smashed avo and eggs mm or the berries pancakes omg!! But oh the coffee......the best in Mitcham!! Love this place

I love Miss Polly but the last few visits I haven't enjoyed it as much. I like the decor and the fact they have indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoy having breaky there occasionally. The Chai latte isn't the nicest and using leaves it can taste watery. I ordered a gluten free toasted sandwich and it wasn't good unfortunately. three pieces of bread with one in the middle with ham and cheese. The middle piece was gross and soggy.

They changed hands over the Christmas break, and I have been there twice since. I cannot recommend them anymore. The food was average, not fantastic as it used to be, but mostly their service was lacking. Inefficient customer service, and no warmth anymore. Sorry, but after these two disappointing visits, my partner and I decided we were not going back there again.

So happy there is a fantastic cafe in the Mitcham area.

I often go for breaky or just pop in for a coffee with a friend. Its always busy which is a great sign. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is lovely and I especially love the muffins and cakes!

After a lovely breakfast experience a few weeks ago, I recommended Miss Polly to my friends for our monthly catch-up. To my surprise, we had a very different experience this time round. Our waitress advised us 3 times within 10-15 that we might have to move to a smaller table if they got busy - they weren't busy at the time. We were sitting at two tables for two with an umbrella in-between. There were 3 of us, plus my friends little girl in her pram. After our waitress forgot our order, we waited some time for our food before the waitress advised us that we needed to move as they had been turning people away because they didn't want to sit in the sun or at a smaller table. Apparently there were only 3 of us; my friend's little girl doesn't qualify as a person. She left the three of us to move our drinks, water bottles & glasses, cutlery along with my friend's child and pram. We had to squeeze through tables and patrons and at eight and a half months pregnant, this is no easy feat for me. We then had to help as she struggled to fit our 3 meals and sides onto our tiny table. Another waitress came to apologise but gentle remind us that we had been warned from the start that moving was a possibility. We told her were surprised that's all as no one was waiting for our table plus we had to move a pregnant women and a baby. To my absolute shock she told us we were welcome to go down the road to another restaurant where the tables were bigger. We were then ignored except for clearing our plates and leaving a bottle of water on the table. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else or offered the bill. I'm really sad that this happened but glad there are other cafe's close by with 'bigger' tables.

i've been here several times since they've changed owners. the staff are super friendly and the food is great. you don't know how happy i am that there is finally a decent cafe in mitcham where i can ask for poached eggs and know they'll be properly cooked! they are child/baby friendly as their outdoor space has lots of room for kids to run around and they aren't too close to the main road. they have a booster seat with harness but no high chairs. they also do catering.

I have been many times since the owners took over. The food is great and the service is fantastic. Not all the same coffees are available but there is a greater range of sweet items.

Approximate cost: $10-20
