When was your business founded?

Mobicell was established in 2010 as a home-based mobile phone repair service on the Gold Coast. As the business grew, we opened our dedicated repair centre in Helensvale in 2016 and have continued providing professional repairs and friendly service to customers across the northern Gold Coast.

What guarantees or warranties do you offer, if any?

All repairs are backed by a warranty for your peace of mind. We use quality replacement parts and stand behind our workmanship. Warranty terms vary depending on the type of repair and parts used, and we'll explain the applicable warranty before any work begins. Due to the unpredictable nature of liquid damage, repairs to liquid-damaged devices are not covered by warranty. Warranty does not cover accidental or physical damage after repair, including cracked or damaged replacement screens.

What is your level of experience in this line of work?

Mobicell has been repairing devices since 2010, while owner Fernando has more than 30 years of hands-on electronics repair experience, dating back to 1994. We repair iPhones, Samsung, Android phones, iPads, tablets, laptops, MacBooks, smart watches and DJI drones, from simple part replacements to advanced fault finding and component-level repairs.

We're a family-owned local business, not a franchise. Customers receive honest advice, quality repairs and personalised service from experienced technicians who genuinely care about getting repairs right the first time. Many common repairs are completed while you wait, and our owner, Fernando, still carries out repairs in-store, giving customers direct access to decades of technical experience.

How quickly can work be completed? What are your turnaround times? Do you offer same-day service?

Many common repairs, including screen and battery replacements, can often be completed the same day or while you wait, subject to parts availability and the type of repair required. More complex repairs, water damage or specialist repairs may take longer, and we'll always provide an estimated turnaround time before starting any work.
