They have a lot of stock but not what you are looking for on the day especially tamiya stuff. It takes them months to order it in if they can get it in at all. Other places usually get it in within a week or have in stork already. Some of the staff are friendly but some are not.
My husband has purchased several remote control helicopters from this shop. Their advice has been knowledgeable and helpful. They keep spares on hand and are able to order the unusual parts. There is a huge range of products in many categories. Could spend hours just looking. Small family business that has been around for years and years.

While the shop stocks just about every model part you'd ever need, it is expensive and has staff that do not help. It is useful if you need a part that you can't find anywhere , but i could find no help getting that part.

That sounds about right for months i have been going in there to buy some tamiya paint to paint my frog and its never in stock. If you go to another hobby store they always have it in stock or get it within 1 week.
The first time we walked into Model Mania I was overwhelmed with how much stock they had. There was everything from paints, motors, and models galore. I looked for hours at all the models I could choose from before I selected a helicopter that I could build piece by piece.
