We recently went here for our family holiday. Its a great zoo, we really had so much fun, even though it was a hot day we didnt feel the heat.

The staff are great, really friendly service, being we had 4 kids in tow we had to keep going to the toilets and they were clean and tidy.

We ordered lunch from the cafe and it was fresh, tasty, and yummy. Kids loved the nuggets and wedges. Hot chips were great and the toasted sandwiches and hamburgers were fantastic.

Kids loved feeding the deers.

It was great to see the animals up close, a great little zoo for all. we had a blast !!

Approximate cost: $100.00

It was great to see all the exotic animals up close . They have lots of animals from all around the world , many large cats , white lions and tigers and lots of things that you wouldnt see in Australia. The focus is on wildlife from elsewhere rather than our native animals. Well worth a look and easy to get around in a day . A great photo oportunity and we took some great pics here. Kids would love it.

We recently visited Mogo Zoo with our 5 kids. They had an absolute blast! So many different types of animals for the kids to watch and experience, even being able to hand feed the deer, which they loved! There are many ands on experiences that you can pay extra to do.

They have a lovely café right near the cute monkey enclosure, so you can have a hot/cold drink, ice cream, sandwich or hot food and enjoy the entertainment.

The one and only thing that disappointed me, was after paying entry for 7 people, we still had to pay an additional amount for a map, only a token amount, but would have thought one map should be included with entry costs.

I like the open grounds, large walkways and observation platforms here. The Zoo experience is quite unique and the kids love it here.

During the school holidays the zoo runs fun & educational kids programs which are well worth looking into.

The location of the Mogo Zoo makes it a must do for families and visitors to the South Coast. It is just minutes from Batemans Bay and the beautiful beaches. Close to the Mogo Village on the Princes Hwy it is easy to find by following the signs on the Tomikan Rd.

School excursion groups have an option to camp out in the zoo and experience sleeping with the sounds of the animals all around. Alternative accommodation can be arranged at the cabins & bunkhouses at the Gold Rush Colony around the corner, which offers a broad range of experiences for the students across different curriculum areas.

Mogo Zoo is privately owned and funded. They specialise in the preservation and survival of endangered species. You can see many rare and exotic animals including the White Lions (beautiful).

The Mogo Zoo takes part in global breeding programs to help ensure we don't lose more of the amazing animals that are threatened by extinction.

The entry fees and other programs go back into enabling the zoo to keep functioning (just adding this because unlike major zoos, there is no Gov funding).

Recommended tourism and nature activity.

Disappointed. Having the same animal in several cages does not make sense. Most cages have too much wire. Can't see a lot of the animals. Too expensive to have a close to animal experience which was between $100 and $200 for 1/2 hour.

What a lovely Zoo. Not as big as the main zoo's. It isnt a concrete jungle. There is nice space. They have white Lions their also. Definitely a lovely weekend away. Keepers are very friendly and will answer all your questions. Seeing the animal feeds are great and you dont have to fight your way to see the animals

Approximate cost: $25

We spent a great day at Mogo Zoo when traveling between Jervis Bay and Narooma. The animals are nice and close and the Keepers are genuinely interested in talking to you about them. It is really obvious they care a great deal about the animals, which is the most important thing to me.

Approximate cost: $25 adult

Great experience, the staff were wonderful always happy to stop and give information when asked. The animals were in enclosures that let you get up nice and close so you could get an amazing view and some terrific photos. A great day out for everyone.
