Run by a rabid anti vaxxer who has no care for others…..stay away

I've been to this bakery since I was in Uni-days in 1999 and until today I visit this place when weather's good at St Kilda. Love this joint where plenty of beautiful tarts, pastries and cake slices are available. Small shop but amazing desserts on display. Even my friend from overseas remember this shop and loved its strawberry tart.

This is the quaintest little cake shop. A couple of tables and chairs are jammed inside, more out on the footpath.
The decor is really old, with an old manual cash register.
The staff were a bit offhand but the coffee and cake were very nice. The serves of cake are large enough to share with a friend.

Yum. Unfortunately could only try a few different cakes, which were just delicious. The shop is older which I thought was a plus. It has a lovely feel, good service and quality products and it turns out they deliver to Adelaide. Haven't tried that service yet but will keep it in mind.

The cakes on display make your mouth water, and the variety is unbelievable.Every type of individual cake you can think of they have as well as full cakes. Monarch is an icon in Acland Street as it has been around for many years. A must for anyone to see.
