I used to bring my young child here for play dates and we even had a membership last year, but after our last experience, we will not be returning. Staff at Monkey Mania Top Ryde refused to accept our voucher on its last day of expiration. He spoke rudely and was contemptuous, claiming it had already expired. He refused to let us speak to any other staff or upper management. The way he communicated with me, in front of my child, was disrespectful and even racist. At the time it was practically empty, there were only a couple other customers in the entire place. The voucher was already paid for, but the loss of money was nothing compared to the disappointment my child faced and the incredible lack of respect and basic customer service.
The venue is small and dark in comparison to other local play centres, the floors are often dirty, the food offered is unhealthy and mediocre at best (burgers, chicken nuggets, chips..), and it does not offer the amenities that other centres do, such as free WIFI or hand sanitiser for the children. It's very expensive, even babies and adults have to pay entry, hence the gift card was a nice idea...but now even gift cards aren't worth it.
Have taken my kids here twice now, its alot small than the Bankstown Monkey Mania. Saying this is plenty of seats/tables.

The play area as the kids say is fun, they still prefer Bankstown due to the size, though still have fun in the play area.
The centre is clean on both occasions we have been there.
Overall a good day out for the kids.
I wish they would validate the parking as 3 hours goes so fast.
Adults get a free coffee upon entry.

Had my son's birthday party here and everything went smoothly and was well organised. The play centre was great fun and a big hit with boys and girls alike. The only suggestion for me was to improve the party food, it was a bit unimaginative and not as appetising as it could be for the price. The staff were wonderful.

We attended Monkey Mania last weekend as our son was a guest of a party there. The centre is new and clean. The kids were completely run off their feet, hooray! It was busy, but I think the staff kept up well. Can be quite noisy.

Dear Elizabeth, our Manager tried very hard to be extremely pleasant as he normally is. This was very challenging in light of the fact that you had a voucher which you brought in on 8 Aug and was not on its last day of expiration but had already expired. The date on the voucher had been manually amended. We are very apologetic that we are unable to redeem these vouchers that are bought through online discount buying websites, after expiry. We do offer salads and fruit salads everyday even though these seem to sadly be the most wasted items on our menus, that we regularly throw out. We do have contract cleaners that clean our venue and floors nightly.
