Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant

This restaurant on Gympie Road has lots of parking, a large spacious restaurant and of course, typical "Mexican" food.

A great place to eat Mexican food. Maybe a little bit cliche and kitsch, but you have to get into the spirit.

I have been to several different Montezuma's restaurants in Brisbane in the last 15 or so years and the food has always been great quality, extremely fresh and looks inviting on the plate. The restaurant was clean and inviting. At Kedron you order your drinks separately at their bar which is fine but the drinks menu doesn't list any prices at all. I am not sure how ordering desert works as there was no menu at the table and no one asked us if we wanted desert. A great meal but not sure I would rush back to their Kedron store in a hurry.

We had an enjoyable dinner at Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant Kedron. From the moment we walked in and were seated, our night was very enjoyable. We ordered the beef nachos as an entree, then for our mains the san francisco and combination dinners all of which was cooked very promptly. We couldn't eat at Montezuma's without ordering the Sangria to wash it down with. Overall a lovely night.

Always good friendly service. Open many hours so perfect to just stop by. Great atmosphere and food is yum. Kids love it too. Never had a bad meal here!

It was our first visit, and unfortunately though the food was average to good the service was terrible. The first thing our waitress told us was that the kitchen was closing soon and we needed to order quickly. It went downhill from there. Our waitress was clearly in a rush to leave and gave us very little service. Our appetizer order was incorrect but our server nowhere in sight. Luckily another server corrected the issue and kept us topped up with water, she was very pleasant. Our server can back once to try to clear our plates which were only half eaten and was clearly disappointed we weren't done. Could have been much better.

A good family restaurant. The kids love coming here. The portions are huge and good value for money. The staff have always been wonderful - they make sure that the kids get colouring in pencils and pictures to keep them amused. We went for my son's 11th birthday; we brought our own cake and they served it with candles; as a special surprise, three of the waitstaff sang and danced happy birthday to him with sparklers - it was wonderful and totally unexpected. We did not get charged cakeage either. Never had a bad experience there.

Good food, great atmosphere and prices. Cocktail jugs are great value, and the food is always tasty. The Chille Verde is always one to go for - not too hot, but tender and juicy - definitely one to try!

the food is lovely and just as you would expect - lots of choice and varying degress of chilli. the waitresses know the menu well and recommended two really great meals for myself and my partner, however they brought the main meal out before we had finished our entree, and even though it was obvious that we still hadn't finished, and there was almost no room left on the table, she squeezed the main meal plates on to the table anyway. we had a reservation but we were made to wait at the bar we at least 20 other people until a table became available which was really annoying as we were paying a babysitter by the hour - what was the point of reserving a table then?
