Great Value easy dining with so many options of food with obvious Mexican flavour to many dishes. Look forward to returning to some of the not so common dishes available. Excellent customer service.

We had a great meal here recently. The staff were friendly, the food was good and the atmosphere lovely. We will return. The only suggestion would be a few photos available about what the items were. Would make ordering easier if you are not overly familiar with Mexican cuisine.

Been here a few times in the last couple of years, have a wide variety of food, but never really loved it. Staff are helpful enough and the bartenders were nice but food really wasn't at the standard i was hoping for mexican!
I've been here 3 times. All times were pretty average. Staff were fine and the only thing I liked about it was that we got a free main meal. The tables are uncomfortable and beach towels cover them. I love Mexican though but can make better at home.
Very average. Poor service to the point of being ignored and having to go up to order when it is TABLE SERVICE, average food, and average price. Not going to bother going back, not even with a coupon.

I have been here a couple of times before and found it to be slightly better than your other mexican joints but I didn't find the service here to be any worse than other restaurants like this. The service in melbourne itself is pretty bad and needs improving.
One word - food poisoning. One dreadful experience with a family birthday put all of my family and I off this place. I went back with friends and it was okay. However, that night still brings back too many bad memories.
That is terrible. I hope if you are sure it's this restaurant that has caused you food poisoning that you have reported it to the health department.

Amazing food, I have eaten here since it opened approx 20 years ago and never had a bad meal. I love the enchiladas - especially the chorizo and chicken ones. Drinks are very reasonably prices, especially margaritas. Suggest booking on Thurs - Sat nights as often booked out. So good it has made other Mexican restaurants unedible for me!

My fiance and I had a Saturday lunch here a few weeks ago. The staff were friendly, and service was quite prompt. The food was reasonably priced and very authentic and the decor matched the theme well. We will certainly be visiting Montezuma's again and highly recommend it to everyone. Their enchiladas were outstanding!
