I had some free time after an appointment, so I had a hot chocolate here. This time all the people walking past didn't bother me and my drink was very nice. It's popular and not very quiet but good.

I ran into a friend while at Mitcham and we stopped at Mooi for a coffee and a chat. It's quite popular and fairly comfortable, although I'm always conscious of all the people walking past close by. We weren't worried about how long it took. The lass was friendly and the coffee and hot chocolate were pretty good, especially given the prices.

While shopping in Mitcham Centre stopped here and ordered a caramel milk shake. It was well made and I enjoyed it but it was not the quickest milkshake to arrive. The food that was available looked very fresh and appetising for those that wished to eat.

I ordered a hot chocolate to take away. Had to wait about 10 minutes which I wasn't expecting. Felt even longer standing around waiting in the middle of the mall with people walking by. Price was about average. The hot chocolate itself wasn't anything special - just average. Have definitely had nicer hot chocolates elsewhere.

I have frequented this cafe many times over the years, usually late morning and every single time, you wait for ages for your order to come out. A few times we have changed the order to take away.

Mooi is a coffee shop in the open area of Mitcham Shopping Centre. It has modern décor and provides reading matter for its patrons. The hot chocolate is $3.20 and comes in an elegant cup and saucer based on a square with round sides. The reader might have to refer to the photo if this description of the shape does not seem to make sense. The hot chocolate comes with a light froth, a sprinkle of chocolate and a marshmallow. The drink is sweet and creamy but not chocolaty enough for your reviewer's taste.
