We stayed in one of the cabins for the weekend, it was fairly small but still very clean and comfortable. A little on the pricey side but I guess when you're that close to the beach you would expect to pay a bit. The park itself was quite large, right at the beach front were caravan sites, the cabins were a short walk down the hill to get to the beach. Staff were polite and friendly. A nice place to stay.

Decided to do some fishing this long weekend with a few friends and we stayed in this caravan park because it is right on the water, great for fishing, swimming and just hanging out. A great location, perfect spot to stay. They have a kiosk and of course a bbq area, which we were going to use if we caught any fish. Unfortunately they eluded us, we had a great time trying.

Have stayed here many times over the years. This time arrangements for a group booking was made with various in and out dates for different couples. The staff made it all very easy and booked cabins and caravan sites in the same area willingly. Deposit for one night was required which is fine. The cabins are set up with linen and towels which makes life easier too. Looking forward to another great time at Moonta Bay.

Ive stayed in cabins here on a few occasions. Found the cabins to be very nice and well worth the cost. The location is absolutely gorgeous being right on the beach front. Just a very short walk to beach or jetty. Staff are ultra friendly with good old country attitude. They do have camping sites for caravan or tent depending on needs. This is a really lovely spot to stay and I recommend it to all!

It's got to be our favourite getaway. For oour whole family (and the dog comes too). We get a site that's close to a clean modern ammenitise block (the washing machines and driers have just been upgraded so they're better and cheaper than the ones in the laundry at Moonta).
And we always are sited close to the sea wall. just a short ladder down to the beach..... well usually, this last trip the sea was 'a tad high' so the wind whipped waves were breaking over the wall on Thursday & Friday. And it did rain, about 50 mill I heard in town. the new annex floors Richard has installed on most sites are fantastic, no slipping.

Approximate cost: $260
