Absolutely Horrific today with Dr Saleem.
Never seen him before and never will.
Money making medical individual!
My usual Dr was unavailable and I required medical assistance.
I set my timer once I walked in the room 9.15 minutes in total, I was charged $117.75 which is the total of 20 minutes.
Once my concern had been inspected carelessly and I ended the appointment, he decided to go through my medical history trying to fine tooth comb it. Then he printed a blood test referral for no apparent reason but to waste money.
Ahpra will be hearing about my experience, I have no doubt that a plethora of patients have experienced the same disrespectful treatment by this so called medical professional.

Podiatrist visits - I saw a podiatrist who after 3 visits stuck clumps of foam foam onto basic shoe inserts that she had asked me to buy from the chemist myself. Rather than provide professional orthotics she provided these makeshift inserts that were so uncomfortable & ill fitting that I could not wear them. Total waste of time & money. (I had orthotics made elsewhere afterwards & I can now walk again).

the main reason i go to this medical centre on occasion is that its open extended hours and you can usually go there up to 11pm. Unfortunately they dont make appointments so you just have to turn up and wait, some visits i have waited 15 mins others have been closer to 4 hours! It has a large waiting area and blood tests etc can all be done there as well. I have not found the doctors there to be overly thorough so i dont go there that often. They do however bull bill.

I've been to this Medical Centre many times. I hate that you can't make appointments,and if you ring to see when a specific Dr is on,you get attitude,and made to feel you do not have the right to see the Dr of your choice.Sometimes the waiting time has been as long as 2 hours. The way this practice is run does not encourage a Dr to give thorough medical care,and most Dr's seem rushed to get you out as quickly as possible. There is however a couple of really great Dr's there, Dr Leo Blanco is a gem, makes you feel very human,and worthy of his time. If Dr Blanco leaves then I would not go there again. The reception staff are pleasant, but always seem under pressure and stressed.This practice does bulk bill all patients.

I give these marks purely and simply because of the high quality of the majority of the staff medical and non medical who work there. Dr Mark Bennett is my Dr and he is a God-send. Drs. Blanco, Parvez and a few others are fantastic. Some of the Doctors there I would never see again under any circumstance. I also strongly disagree with the way that the centre (which is part of a large chain of medical centres owned by a company that I will not name) is run (no fault of the practice manager). The chain tries to force patients to see any dr that is available rather than the dr of their choice. They make it very difficult for a patient to see their own dr privately. In my opinion the drs are under pressure to practice conveyer belt medicine and are pressured to limit the length of consult. if it wasnt for my dr being there i would never give this medical centre my custom.

Approximate cost: $75 if seen privately but if you are prepared to see any dr they will bulk bill

I see Dr.Edgardo(Gary) Salamat. I think he is the best Dr. ever. He is hard to get into see but the wait is well worth it. He bulk bills hands you a tissue if you need one and shows so much compassion. Try him you will not be disappointed..

See Dr. Somers, he is the best and actually takes time to listen to you. My partner had a bad experience and was misdiagnosed by another foreign doctor who was quite happy to get through as many patients as possible (I imagine for extra bonus $$)

I used these guys when I needed physiotherapy on my hand after I broke it earlier this year. They are a nice clean centre with friendly professional staff. Their only downfall is that they were always very busy !!

This is a great medical centre, especially for those who work odd hours. We attended once and to be honest, had a very rude female doctor. Came back another time and requested Dr. Leo Blanco and we haven't turned back since. He is great, listens to every concern and is easy to understand even though he's not natively Australian.

There can be a wait during certain times, but if it is an emergency you WILL be able to skip the line (of course!). The main waits I have encountered are from 3pm onwards (school children and families) and early morning when the elderly all seem to have their visits.

The late closing hours have been a life-saver for myself and my husband when sick or worried during the later hours of the evening.

I am unsure of the X-Ray and Dental areas, but it is FREE to see any of the standard doctors.

I took my partner there in pain, being a dental nurse myself i knew what needed to be done.... explained this to they Dentist - expecting that the treatment(which would stop the pain) would be started that day (which was already arranged with the receptionist to book a longer consult) instead, an Xray was taken, only for us to be told what i already knew.. and charged the Xray fee and a consult fee and sent on our way with Partner still in pain! NOT IMMPRESSED... WE DID NOT RETURN!

I like the doctor I see here as he is thorough and Australian, however to make an appointment I have to see him on a Friday morning and it costs me $65 as they won't bulk bill. Otherwise it's great as you can have pathology Radiology and dental as well as minor procedures done all in one place

this is a good doctors surgery if u dont mind waiting for awhile as it is a medical centre. The doctors r really good but and they r thougher. They also have there own x-ray place to.

The Dr i saw was great he was actually interested in what i had to say, and arranged for the appropriate tests to be done, i was very pleased. I will be returning there when needed. great job

You don't make appointments for these doctors so if your usual doctor is fully booked you can try these doctors. They are also open nights and on weekends when other doctors are closed. They don't take appointments so the waiting time can be long but I have found them to be very good doctors.
