My husband and I have been using Mordialloc Optical for some years now. I changed there after getting tired of going to places where their main focus was selling me more expensive frames, whether they suited me and my prescriptions or not. I had also had some bad experiences with how well the lenses had been put into the frames. The contrast with the service I get from Mordialloc Optical could not be greater. They are really good at providing advice about what frames suit my face (or don't!) and at making sure that the glasses sit properly and are comfortable to wear. Nothing is too much trouble to the staff and Haroula, who does the eye testing, is great. She fitted my husband in at short notice when he was having trouble seeing and diagnosed a detached retina. Great service that saved his sight.

I used Mordialloc Optical for my most recent eye test. I found the guy in the shop to be helpful and they were understanding when I had to change my appointment. Haroula who conducts the eye test was friendly and informative in explaining my eye test results. I didn't require glasses or contacts so can't comment on this.

I've been using Mordialloc Optical (in its various guises) for a while now and have no complaints. I did go to Specsavers once and regretted it - the staff there definitely don't come up to the high standards I have become used to. So, back to Mordialloc Optical I went when I lost the $600 glasses and wondered if they could fix a bent much-loved pair and do the new prescription (Specsavers said they couldn't) and lo a behold, yes they could, and did!

Have been going here for about 15 years. Am always very happy with the service & range of glasses. Haroula is fantastic & very informative especially as I am getting contact lenses for the first time.

The two gentlemen are very friendly and helpful, but I found the saleswoman to be very disinterested and not at all interested in putting herself out - it would have been nice to see her smile
