I must agree with ‘ Broo’ the weekend evening Manager is not at all suitable for any customer service roles. He is rude, impatient, arrogant, and loud mouthed. He can’t handle a cafe that needs all staff to work at a fast and friendly pace.
Compliments to the Chef for his 5 star quality food and it’s presentation plus the staff for their friendly and happy disposition BUT if this cafe is to success with dinner bookings either train this Manager in appropriate customer service requirements or better still stand him down and replace him

we had an appalling experience there last Saturday night 27 March 2021. We had booked for 9 people over a week earlier. Upon entering we were told to order immediately otherwise we would be waiting a long time due to an 18th birthday party not even a metre away from us. We ordered our wine and he plonked it on the table with the bottle top still on. We could not hear each other speak due to the intense noise from the party. We paid for our meal and food before asking politely if we could be moved to another table . The [removed name] was so extremely rude and his lack of manners was the worst that we have ever encountered but we were moved to the front of the cafe . At this table flies approximately 20 in total were hovering over us and our food whilst we were trying to brush them away. The [removed personal identifier] said - well it is due to all the seaweed on the beach. Then proceeded to scream at us ‘JUST GET OUT’ then opened the windows up - obviously to annoy us. Never will we return and we are making sure many others know of our negative experience
great food , very tasty. Eye fillet steak dish was SO TENDER it melted in my mouth. Only downfall was it was super noisy and we could hardly hear each other speak.
Apart from that it was excellent, byo also

Went with friends for lunch today. We ordered from the Seniors , Menu - $12.95 for main meal, $3 soup, $3 dessert. Bread rolls included. I had the grilled barramundi with chips and vegetables which was a lovely meal with lots of flavour. 2 friends had the caesar salad which they both enjoyed. We sat at the front of the hotel where we could look out onto the street which was very pleasant

wonderful staff and food. This is a lovely little cafe with attentive friendly staff and the menu is very economical and varied. Every time I go there I always feel satisfied and happy with my experience

fantastic 'up to the moment' hairdressers, Staff listen to what you require, and do not rush you. It is worth paying 'just that bit more' for a hairdresser that is by far the best in Parkdale and I have tried them all
Approximate cost: $90
Excellent cafe with a great menu and staff. We had the 'all day breakfast' plus a cup of herbal tea and thoroughly enjoyed both. This cafe is close to Gardenvale station so we were able to walk there. Definitely will be back.

My friend and I dined at Dumplings Delish on a very hot day for lunch and we ordered chicken dumplings. I asked whether the restaurant was licenced and the'older' waitress said 'no not yet, BUT I WILL NOT LOOK if you bring alcohol in.
Whilst we waited we asked if the ceiling fan could be turned on as there was no air conditioning and the door was wide open, with 2 staff members standing talking beside the door way, but the waitress did not turn it on, we were given a bottle of warm water to supposedly quench our thirst.
Unfortunately the dumplings were the worst we have ever tasted, in fact they were unpalatable as the chicken was raw - so we left the remainder on the plate.
When I went to the counter to pay, I mentioned this to the waitress who did not seem to be perturbed and in fact she tried to overcharge us.
I also noticed there was a large stainless steel bowl full of cooked noodles on the bench behind the counter - the day was very hot and these noodles should have been covered and put in a refrigerator.
This restaurant-bar-event venue has only been opened for a few months and my friend and I agree it is by far the best restaurant/cafe/bar in this part of Carlisle Street, There is also a beer garden . FREE WI FI Open 8am - 6 pm Mondays, 8am - 11 pm Tuesdays-Sundays. The menu is so reasonable for eating in and takeaways There is a lovely warm fire for these cold nights. The walls are lined with tv screens and you can enjoy watching trips in different cities overseas on the screens. We could watch 'walking through New York' when we were there. The themes change often The quality of the food was amazing, my steak was cooked perfectly just as I requested - medium rare, presentation was elegant. My friend had flathead tails, which she said were so tender in a crispy batter. The cheese platter was a delight to finish up with. Live music entertained us when we were there on a Saturday night and there were lots of people sitting at the bar having a great time and tapping their feet to the sound of the music

the room was approx 2-3 star, and next to the power point on the wall near the double bed there was a large gap in the plaster wall which makes it very dangerous for children. I must say though the linen was clean
