Really happy with everything. Corey was lovely, the girls were very helpful and friendly. Love that they take photos of stuff to show you when its broken so you can see for yourself. Never had an experience like it before. Very happy. Highly recommend Motor Hospital in Newmarket.

Worst experience so far, the price was a rip off which they were trying to excuse with the quality and expertise of the mechanics working there, but in the end they didn't repair the stuff they should and they even caused more problems. During their ''so called'' repair they broke the ignition lead, broke or didn't repaired correctly the rocker cover gaskets, since the oil is still leaking into the spark plugs, damaged another working lead and fixed it with the plastic zip tie, lost the air intake funnel and damaged the cooling system hose so it was leaking the cooling fluid. The ladies at the reception were really nice but I have never encountered so bad mechanical work which cost us a lot of extra money and ruined our holiday.

My partner asked my help trying to get her car fixed by Motor Hospital and they treated me the same as they treated her. Quite helpful face to face but don't expect them to get back to you or fix the problem, although they are happy to take your money. They told me her car was fine to drive away and five minutes later I was stuck in a main intersection. That was after it had been left with them for about a total of three weeks. Save yourself pain and go somewhere else.

It pains me to give this review as I had attempted to settle this matter with the Motor Hospital (MH) by a certain date last week. Despite advising me twice I would have an outcome, I still heard nothing which seems true to form, as evidenced by my experience with them, outlined below. I am also lodging a complaint with Fair Trading QLD and I am sharing my experiences via reviews so consumers can avoid the distress I have been through. Please refer to the full outline of my experience on my Google review, but my concerns with the MH are: • Poor customer service. Although [Retracted names] are generally pleasant to deal with, you will see several incidences of failed return phone calls/emails & unfulfilled requests. Motor Hospital implied I was foolish in purchasing the car and that the best think I could do was "bin it". You are welcome to your opinions on cars, but I found this very upsetting and judgemental to hear when I was already under strain • Questionable mechanical work. I was twice given my car back improperly repaired. You also issued a roadworthy on a car that was most certainly not roadworthy. Motor Hospital said the car was safe to drive, however it got stuck in the middle of the busy intersection & required pushing before a bus came down the hill. Certainly not safe by any means. • Lack of professional integrity. If Motor Hospital believes the car should be “binned” why go ahead and incur $1498.40 of additional costs? Or any costs at all? At least tell me this opinion professionally and respectfully & give me the option to progress. I was also told the “car drove beautifully” twice which clearly it didn’t as within 600m it was displaying a serious problem. See above as per comments saying it was “safe to drive”. Motor Hospital said “no-one wants to touch them”. Why not simply politely suggest I take my business elsewhere or refer me to someone else instead of choosing to incur costs on a car you do not believe in or did not have the skills to fix? It’s hard to not interpret this as a money grab of a vulnerable client. • Unauthorised work on vehicle. Several times since I engaged the MH I had asked to always be consulted to approve work that would incur cost. This second portion was never approved, & had I been given the opinion of Motor Hospital, I would have taken it to someone who cared more. The full outline of my experience can be read in the images on my Google Review. https://www.google.com.au/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=motor+hospital&*&lrd=0x6b91575df2eef45d:0x5e8728e4411c7c14,1,

I was charged $162.80 parts and $130 labour plus tax to replace a leaking power steering hose. At this price I expect the correct hose to be fitted. Not $12 a metre bright pink universal hose, zip tied to the fuel line. I ask how $12 of hose, two hose clamps, two zip ties and a bottle of power steering fluid cost $160.80. Rip offfffff.
I paid over the phone so I will be ringing them Monday to demand a full refund and going somewhere else to have fixed.

Approximate cost: $300

I have been to the motor Hospital 3 time now and never had any problem. But after today I will never go back again. There's is a different older lady in reception (I am guessing she is the manager) that abused me verbally calling my a "selfish, ungrateful girl" after I had been waiting there 3.5 hours for 2 tires to be replaced, they wouldn't give me a time-frame on when it was going to be fixed just replying soon, and we are going as fast as we can or it will be ready when its ready. I waited outside for my car, I was really upset about waiting so long, I got the keys and was in my car about to leave when the older lady came out yelling at me saying she was going to call the police? I had already paid and was wondering what i had done? after waiting 3.5 hours the other nice lady in the office gave me a battery key earlier and said that i wouldnt have to pay for extra bolts that had to be put on the tyres. But now I did?
I use to recommend this place to others, now i will never go near the place after being treated so badly. I was crying about the delays and got yelled at for no reason.

Approximate cost: $200

The people at Blue Cross are friendly but they do NOT do a good job...
They are very cheap and take on too many cars, as a result they almost destroyed our car.
They were always late in delivering our car back and we weren't the only ones waiting for over an hour after they called and said the car was ready (the least of our problems in hindsight!).
They didn't put the sump plug back on properly once and if it hadn't been for RACQ it would have fallen out completely and destroyed our engine.
They also didn't machine the brake disks, and kept changing our brake fluid but didn't do it properly either.
Please don't be fooled by the low prices, stay away!
They have offered us a free service but we will NEVER go back there.

An addition to my first review, today I had to call RACQ after a car I haven't serviced for 2 years (and not used too much) stopped working. The battery was dead. The RACQ repairman couldn't believe what he saw though: the battery was way too small for the car, so it only lasted two years. Guess where this car used to be serviced and was last serviced??? Blue Cross Motor Hospital!

Very honest people, awesome job, would recommend these people to everyone, very very happy. Broke down and was towed in to this garage - i was greeted by Tony and was asked to take a seat in the reception area where Melissa made me a lovely cup of coffee, Tony took the car down to the workshop and carried out the diagnosis, gave me a full explaination of exactly what was wrong and gave me a quote to repair, he said if i needed to check with my husband or dad he would happily explain to them - which he did and invited them down to the workshop to take a look at the problem for themselves. awesome, awesome nothing to hide just plain honesty, i love it and like i said before i would recommend them to everyone.
